About Halo Wet Cat Food

America's Best Loved Holistic Brand
Holistic. Whole. Humane.

Holistic. Whole. Humane.

Halo is committed to providing no less than the best holistic recipes to satisfy your cat’s carnivorous cravings. Their wet cat food combines pure, natural ingredients like whole meat, poultry and fish plus non-GMO fruits and vegetables for delicious, more digestible meals. Following a whole meat philosophy, Halo never uses animal by-products or meat meals—just the real, whole proteins your cat needs to thrive.

Superior Digestibility

Halo believes that whole meat equals a whole lot more digestibility. As obligate carnivores, cats need meat, not just parts of animals that you wouldn’t consider to be meat. When your pet gets whole proteins instead of rendered meats like chicken meal or fish meal, they’re getting optimum nutrition that’s easier for their body to digest. And that means they can get the full benefits of each nutrient-rich ingredient.

What's in Your Cat's Bowl?

With Halo, you won’t see a meat meal hiding anywhere in the ingredients, and there’s no corn, wheat, wheat gluten, rice or artificial colors, preservatives or flavors. Here’s what you will find:

Holistic Whole Meat: Salmon, whitefish, chicken or turkey that's slow-cooked provides a more digestible source of protein with up to 16 times less ash than rendered meat.

Non-GMO Produce: Fruits and vegetables from farms that refuse to use genetically modified seeds that rely heavily on chemical fertilizers and herbicides to produce crops.

  • Excellent choice!

I have a 14 year old silver Weegie named Chadwick who has a somewhat nervous tummy so I decided to try the Halo Sensitive Stomach canned food. I've been using other Halo wet food (most notably, their Spot's Stew) for all my cats and have been very happy with the quality of the food and my cats love it! Chadwick loves the Quail and Garden Greens and no longer barfs his meals. I realize that cats are individuals and your mileage may vary, but I recommend that anyone owned by a kitty with a sensitive stomach give it a try.

  • Dry & no evidence of helping their stomachs

For canned food, there's very little moisture. I have 2 senior cats & 2 young ones. I was hoping this would help the older ones with their digestive issues but it hasnt.

  • 4 cats would not eat it

I got this because of the ingredients, and it was supposed to be healthy. I have 4 cats of different ages that get a variey of different foods, so they are used to getting new and different stuff all the time. Not one of them would even try it. All four sniffed it and left it alone. I bought an entire case of 3 flavor variety too. I am now mixing it in with the dog food just to use them up. Yep, the dogs like them

My cat begs for this food. She loves it. More importantly, however, she has great energy for an older cat and a beautiful coat.

Ingredients were good but my cats wouldn't eat it. It is by the same brand I normally buy although it wasn't accepted by my cats.

Took Mr T a bit to get used to this flavor. So, plan to throw a few cans away until your cat buys into it.
