Guidelines for changing your pet’s current dry or wet food to Halo dry or wet food:
Days 1-3: 75% old food, 25% Halo
Days 4-5: 50% old food, 50% Halo
Days 6-7: 25% old food, 75% Halo
Days 8+: 100% Halo
Pets with sensitive stomachs may need to transition a little more slowly to avoid any digestive upset. If you introduce the new food too quickly and your cat or dog experiences some digestive upset, just back up to the previous transition amount where your pet wasn’t having any trouble and feed that amount for a few more days before continuing with the transition. Once your pet is eating all Halo food, if you switch between Halo recipes, consider a 2- or 3-day transition to minimize stomach upset.

Holistic. Whole. Humane.
Halo is committed to providing no less than the best holistic recipes to satisfy your cat’s carnivorous cravings. Their wet cat food combines pure, natural ingredients like whole meat, poultry and fish plus non-GMO fruits and vegetables for delicious, more digestible meals. Following a whole meat philosophy, Halo never uses animal by-products or meat meals—just the real, whole proteins your cat needs to thrive.
Superior Digestibility
Halo believes that whole meat equals a whole lot more digestibility. As obligate carnivores, cats need meat, not just parts of animals that you wouldn’t consider to be meat. When your pet gets whole proteins instead of rendered meats like chicken meal or fish meal, they’re getting optimum nutrition that’s easier for their body to digest. And that means they can get the full benefits of each nutrient-rich ingredient.
What's in Your Cat's Bowl?
With Halo, you won’t see a meat meal hiding anywhere in the ingredients, and there’s no corn, wheat, wheat gluten, rice or artificial colors, preservatives or flavors. Here’s what you will find:
Holistic Whole Meat: Salmon, whitefish, chicken or turkey that's slow-cooked provides a more digestible source of protein with up to 16 times less ash than rendered meat.
Non-GMO Produce: Fruits and vegetables from farms that refuse to use genetically modified seeds that rely heavily on chemical fertilizers and herbicides to produce crops.

this particular variety upset my cats stomach. I mixed a bit of their old food with this everyday for about a week. When I hit the 50/50 mix both of my kitties came down with upsets, diarrhea and refused food for about 24 hours. As soon as I went to back to their regular variety of Halo everything was fine.

I would give this food 5 stars if it didn't have guar gum and carrageenan in it. Otherwise, this food is pretty clean. The cats love it and scarf it all down. I will buy it again.
