By Buffett on Dec 10, 2019

My cat likes this food but hates the whole PEAS and pieces of beans that are mixed in. I have to go through the food and pick all of it out before I can serve it to my cat. I called the company and they apologized saying she would report it to quality control. It is supposed to all be ground up!!!! Turkey Recipe Contains Garlic Powder

    By on

My cats liked it but I noticed garlic powder is one of the ingredients. Because of that I am unlikely to buy it again unless Halo takes it out of the recipe. I emailed Halo about this but have not heard back from them.

    Not their favorite

    By on

My cats love the chicken crab flavor, but walked away from this Turkey. Trying the seafood medley this time to see how they like it. Love Halo food overall, just not this flavor.

    needs work

    By on Top 100 Contributor

my cats love the actual pate. it's wet enough to entice them and get them to eat. The problem is the huge chunks of vegetables in this. My cats eat around it and leave behind all the veg which amount to nearly 1/2 the can, so much wasted. Leave them in or blend them into the pate.

    fussy cats

my kittens won't eat it but my elderly cats are doing really well on it except the chunks of veggies. I hate throwing out food and they refuse to eat those veggies.

    They leave the peas

    By on

My cats eat all the meat and leave me a bowl of pea's. So I wish they would just have it all meat and save the fillers. Out in the wild, cat's do not eat peas and carrots.

It has chucks of peas and carrots

    By on Top 500 Contributor

My master cats loves it except for the peas and carrots. He leaves those for me to clean as any good cat slave would do. I don't recommend unless, of course, your master cat like peas and carrots.

    Too many veggies

    By on

My cats like the pate part of this food, but they leave all the peas and carrots on the plate. I tried crushing them up but they still knew what they were. I personally think there are too many veggies in the mix.

    Cats are CARNIVORES

    By on

My kittens will eat just about anything you put in front of them, but needed coaxing to eat this. I don't understand why pet food companies feel the urge to put vegetables in an obligate carnivore's diet. Really frustrated, I always thought people who made their own cat food were crazy, but I can totally see why and will join the club soon.
