To select the most accurate size collar for your pet, measure the center of their neck with a cloth tape measure, a few inches down from their head. Pull the cloth tape measure snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there’s enough room for about two fingers between the collar and your pet’s neck for comfort.

Noseband is nice and safe with the padding and wideness for her snout, however her tongue went blue from her having a panic attack and the noseband closing around her muzzle making her bite her tongue while it was out, it was very bad and im working out tailoring it to fix that but it should really just not do that, if a dog needs a muzzle then that should be bought seperately, not put on young or anxious animals just trying to get back to their momma on a walk with the family.
Took a great class with my dog to learn how to use this head collar. He still rubs his head on anyone he can reach. Needs more padding all around. Piece through bottom ring has frayed to point of breakage. I need another one, but am hesitant.
I’ve actually had one of these before but lost it during my move. This helps with my Aussie who has a HUGE pulling on the leash issue. I like that there is a small clip to put onto the collar so if he does get out of it I still have some hold on him.
We bought this product to replace what we thought was a low-grade lead, but turns out the the replacement we bought was the poorest quality. We only got 2 uses out of this product before it broke.
After a front hook harness did not work, I moved to the Halti. I like it better than a Gentle Leader because of the side stabilizing strap and the extra link to the collar. Must be gentle with it and take time teaching your dog to get used to it.
It fits great. It works well but if my dog, named Dog, pulled it turned the rectangular pieces that keep the under chin strap straight and loose. This tightened the collar around his muzzle and kept it tight! I changed to a much less expensive head lead and he is now amazing with his walks.
We have had dogs that were hard to control because they were huge dogs or were very excitable! One dog that was a medium size dog but very excitable and strong used to jump as high as 5 feet into the air as I was trying to walk her, she was in a collar and a leash, we put the Halti on her and within 2 minutes she was walking like a proper dog does, it was great, no more pulling and jumping, it made our walks enjoyable! If you have a big dog it works on them too because with the Halti if the dog turns it’s head too much it will pinch them on the nose lightly and dogs don’t like that so the dog quits pulling and turning and they become very easy to walk!
I have used this type of training collar on several large, willful dogs. It works like a charm every time. Unlike harnesses which give dogs something to lean into, this head collar prevents pulling by redirecting the dogs head. Try it in the house before you go outside. Once you get the hang of it, you will love it.
This is the second Halti head harness I've bought and it isn't as effective as the old one for 1 reason: there is no way to tighten it around the muzzle aside from keeping constant pressure on it or it falls off. The idea is to allow slack so the dog feels the correction and this can't be done with the new version without making your own adjustment rig.
Helps me not take my owner off his feet buy pulling my head down in a gentle manor
