I have a 100 pound 16 month old Berner who is fairly reliable at loose leash walking. He also uses the front lead Halti harness. I actually use this hands free thrown across my body (like a shoulder bag) instead of around my waist and really enjoy it! I still occasionally give correction with my left hand but honestly it’s very effective and so nice to have use of my hands to give treats etc! Very very happy.
Simple yet versatile

This leash is versatile and easy to switch from one method of use to the other. As others have said, it is a tad short when using as a double lead for two dogs. When we use it for walks in the woods with our one pup who loves to chase deer, we cross some streams. This leash soaks up and holds a lot of water so make sure you have a place to hang it after a walk in the rain, it will drip. For these two very small 'cons' I took one star, otherwise I can fully recommend this leash. Sturdy and not a lot of extra loops dangling is nice.
Perfect Leash for all situations.

This leash is awesome. I have used it in so many different ways. My service dog is a Great Dane and goes everywhere with me. The extra ring hooks are make this leash versatile. When shopping I can use by draping over my shoulder, or hook to my pants belt hoop, and it works around a pole, for no pull walking, etc. I love it!
works well with the halti collar

This leash is a must for the halti collar system. I is a quilted fabric leash but just as strong as any other leash I have in my possession. Still, you don't want to leave it laying around if you have a chewer but it is very comfortable to hold and has the hooks for the halti system. reasonably priced as well.
Strong and reliable

My dog isn't too much of a chewer but he does excitedly grab his leash when time to walk. I don't know how well the leash would hold against a serious consistent chewer but so far (had it for a few weeks) it's still mint. Works as advertised, not much to say about it really. The full price is a bit out of my budget but absolutely would be worth it for those can afford it. If not, definitely pick it up when it's on sale like I did, I have 0 regrets.
Hands free leash - very useful

The Halti leashes are nicely constructed and are a very useful leash to have, even if you already own several standard leashes. With the Halti leash, you can connect one end to one of the three rings to form a loop if you choose to hold by hand, connect approx. midway to wear cross-body or around the waist, or connect closer to the pet to shorten the 78 inch length in half to more manageable & controllable 39 inch. This can also be helpful if you need to secure pet leash to a tree for a moment if there's a nearby trash receptacle just beyond reach for the waste bag. I'm not necessarily an advocate of tethering two dogs using the same lead (which it's also useful for)unless the pups walk nicelyThe Halti leashes are nicely constructed and are a very useful leash to have, even if you already own several standard leashes. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the sturdy hardware on the Large is a bit heavy when walking a small dog.… more
I didn't know I needed it!

Our family recently adopted a puppy. The leashes we had from our old dogs were too big for such a little pup, so I fetched us a new, thinner one. A leash is a leash, right? And this one was on sale. Well, I LOVE IT! It's such a convenient lead for our pup. It has several different ways of attaching to his collar or harness, quickly converts to a slip lead, ties him to a safe spot while we work with the horses, or just clips to itself to shorten it on walks. I highly recommend it, and wish I had found it earlier!

I bought this leash with the head collar for my 65 lb pit mix who pulled so hard he has snapped 2 leashes in half. I have used it hands free while running and many different length on our walks and it has been an absolute game changer. Highly recommend!
This has been a great training tool.

My dog is 1 years old and 75 pounds and was living on a ranch free roaming for 4 months while I was under cancer treatment. This type of lead has allowed me to retrain him to walk with me on a leash very well. I can use it around my hip/waist for extra support because he is strong, I can extend it so he can do his business, I can attach to a front or back harness to help lead him. It’s only been a few weeks and he’s walking well with me at my pace, only pulls sometimes now but less than before and walks next to me most of the time. I’m sure as I continue to work with him we will have this down relatively quickly. This was a great buy.

I just got this leash but I Love it. I want a second for my other dog. I can use it for my service dog as an over the shoulder/around the waist/traffic lead, or as double point control on my halti no pull harness for my other crazy pet dog. It's so lightweight and while I can't attest to how long it will last or the absorbency of dirt/odors, with the price and functionality of it it's worth it to just buy another if need be. Also, it's a Great shape for leash wraps! Unless you have a dog that's a chewer, try it!
