Description

Help keep your disabled pup comfortable wherever he goes with the HandicappedPets Dog & Cat Drag Bag. Designed to protect your pal’s chest and hind limbs while he explores about out of a wheelchair, this nylon bag prevents abrasions, sores, and scrapes that can be caused by dragging across carpets, floors, and rough surfaces. Suiting up your dog or cat for action is easy―just place him inside with the breathable mesh side up, close zipper and tabs, and then adjust the fuzzy fastener connecting strip for a snug fit. And when your pal wants to cuddle up, it keeps bedding and blankets dry, and can also be used along with a diaper. Plus, it’s machine-washable and available in different sizes to accommodate pets of all builds.

Medium and small did not fit

    By on

I have a french bulldog who is paralyzed. I originally ordered the small size because the picture had a french bulldog wearing it. When I got the bag the neck part was way too small. I called Chewy and got a full refund and they helped me order the medium. With the medium size the neck part barely fits (still small) and the bag is way too big on the bottom part. This product is not ideal for french bulldogs, and probably not ideal for dogs with thicker necks or "abnormal" shapes.

    My pup hate it.

I have a German shower puppy with straight legged shepherd syndrome as well as being incontinent, I bought this in hopes of helping him move around better, and hopeful it would help keep his diaper on, I immediately tried it on as soon as it was put on my porch and he flopped around like a fish, I tried again the next day and the same thing happened, I have since put it up, I can’t bring myself to trying it on him any longer.

    Is as advertised

    By on

We got what was advertised. Seems to be a decent product. Problem is that our dog will not move once he is placed in it. Place trays 5 ft in front of him and he won't move. Take him out and away he goes. Can't knock the product.

This drag bag was donated to the SPCA for a paraplegic dog. They and the dog love it!

    Awesome! Just what I needed!

This is one product I really wanted to review! My sweet Miley, (long haired chihuahua) always sleeps with us, so I had to come up with something. Diapers will not stay on her, they pull off when she drags herself. With this product, I put her diaper on first, then the "bag". She has more freedom to move around some. She does not seem to get hot. The mesh top helps keep her cooler.

    Drag bag quality

    By on

The bag is well made and works but I’ve only had it for a short time and after only two washings the zipper broke right in the center. I have to duck tape it closed. I paid a lot for a poor quality zipper.

    useful bag

    By on

The bag is very useful, however, I would like to know how to use it when the dog is not in diapers. Hard to catch her before she goes to the bathroom in it. Also, she doesn't know how to drag around in it yet. She just sits there.

    Works as advertised

I have an 88 lb German Shepherd that insists on following us around even though she has suddenly lost use of her hind legs. This drag bag is a dog saver. Now she can propel herself without injuring her legs on the tile or flooring.

I love it, just what I needed

    By on

My pug Lucy can use her hind legs but not very well, I use the Drag bag at night. Lucy sleeps with me usually under the covers. She does not have good bowel control and will “poop” in her sleep. Which is not great for me when she is right next to me. So I sleep much better knowing that if she does have an accident it is her bag and not next to me.
