Help your pal heal with the HandicappedPets Front Leg Dog & Cat Splint. Modeled after human splints, it provides stability for doggy and kitty front legs and paws, with complete support for the foot and toes thanks to its unique design that extends under the paw. It helps stabilize joints for pets with arthritis or injuries, and helps promote healing during physical therapy or while recovering from fractures, sprains, and surgeries. This splint also helps prevent knuckling, or the inability to place paws on the ground, which can occur in pets with neurological conditions or nerve damage. Both sturdy and lightweight, it features a cushioned inner lining to make it ultra-wearable, and is waterproof and easy-to-clean to support wound care. Putting it on your pal is easy―place his paw in the splint with his nails at the edge, and then buckle in place using fuzzy fastener straps. Plus, it’s available in different sizes to accommodate cats and dogs of all breeds.
Key Benefits- Provides complete support for pets’ front paws, wrists, and toes with unique design and non-skid pad.
- Perfect for dogs or cats recovering from fractures, sprains, and surgeries with waterproof material to help keep wounds dry.

Not sure yet
By Ziggy on Dec 28, 2020
I purchased this device to see if it would assist with helping Ziggy with the arthritis in his left paw. He is on anti-inflammiation and pain pills but still limps quite a bit...But I can't even get near him with it...he runs or limps the other way as soon as I approach him with it. So as soon as I get him used to it by putting it in his bed slowly introducing him to it to show him there is nothing to be frightened about. Hopefully my plan will work!!..and I'll be able to provide a better review.

Does not fit or stay on
By Danielle on Nov 2, 2020
Ordered this for my dog. By the measurements it said it should fit her. We measured her multiple times to make sure we got the correct measurements. It is tightened till snug yet it keeps sliding down her leg every time she moves. It will not stay in place for even a few minutes. Not happy at all with this.

70lb Boxer with broken toe!
By Jenjen on Jul 26, 2020
After taking my dog to the vet and finding out she broke her toe they wrapped her up in a splint that went almost to her armpit! (Or "legpit" lol). Well after 3 days the splint they sent her home with snapped! No mind you we have severely limited her activity and she wasn't jumping and running around They wanted ANOTHER 120 to fix it!! We can't afford like most people to. Bring her in every 3 days if they continue to snap! So we searched high and low for a new splint with no luck! The vet wouldn't even sell us one for $20 (they are sold for $2 online!). So we began to search for a sturdier alternative! We found this amazing walking boot for her! She has so much more mobility! She figured out how to get around in it after about 30min and it was so much easier to get on her! We ordered a large as she has pretty skinny legs and it fit like a glove! We did wrap the leg with more gauze and tape for protection and then put the splint on. We finished it off with a layer of tape on the outside to keep her from licking the gauze! She is so much happier and you can tell it's comfortable! We wish the vet would have given us something like this in the first place! … more

Tough to fit
By BordercollieLab on Sep 20, 2020
The brace is made well, but after ordering three sizes, my border collie lab mix just is too wide at the wrist bone. Trying the carpal splint which fits, but doesn't have the foot support unfortunately.

Wrist Brace/ Front leg Brace
By Anna on Jul 1, 2020
We have a Frenchie that at 5 months needed a brace because she somehow hurt her wrist. I hope this helps. We’re day two with it and it’s seems to do ok. It’s very narrow, more for a dog with skinny bird legs. Frenchies have wide meaty paws and legs so it’s pretty tight but manageable. Also this doesn’t leave much room for a dew claw. The bottom has very little grip. We had to improvise and add more of a sole to the bottom so she does slip on the tile. Size we bought is a XXS closest fit based upon measurements.

Walkin Splints carpal boot
By Matt53 on Jun 11, 2020
This boot worked out well for my 85lb Golden who broke a toe. We could not keep him in a traditional splint, either broke it or was to uncomfortable for him to walk in. Used the largest size and it was still a bit small but was able to make it work by wrapping his leg with gauze under the boot. Boot is well made although I had to add more rubber to the walking surface after a few weeks of use cause it wore through. Bothe my vet and PT tech we’re impressed with how well this boot worked.

not dog friendly
By fonziedead on Jun 28, 2020
Tried to put on dog with no success, tried with three people and took rest stops to try and calm the dog down she refuses to cooperate and we all come to the conclusion she will not have any of it. Her leg is too skinny anyway.

Front leg splint
By Peggy on Jun 28, 2020
It was well-made and not complicated to put on. I just couldn't use it because Jett's leg had atrophied too much to use. I wish I had found it sooner!
