I had my mom buy these on her account for my cats. Honestly, the hair sticks to them horribly. If you're just using them for brushing your cats, a brush would be better. I don't want to have to wash them everytime I use them just to get the hair off. Plus, the hair would clog up my sink drain. Also, the nubby parts dig into my hands and it's nearly impossible to do stuff that requires holding anything or using your fingertips. I'm giving these two stars, but only because I think they'd be good for bathing pets.
I got these to try on my cat since he's a fussy groomer. He hated it, haha, so that was a fail. The dogs, however, went wild over it. They loved it! However, the gloves didn't really collect the corgi hair and it kinda went everywhere. I'll try grooming them outside next time.
These are stiff and the plastic very hard; my dogs (Australian Shepherds) hated them. They would work on horses, goats, or cows that have tougher skin than my dogs and rabbits do.
i love to keep my cats groomed and my 3 cats love these. they deshed so well and you can easily get all over the cat. my cats don't love their back legs, bellies, or tails to be brushed but they let me do these areas with these gloves. i highly recommend... these were a great purchase and i can brush everyone quickly, daily so they don't have to lick and get furballs.
I purchase these. I have a long hair cat that constantly gets matted up. He won’t let me groom him but loves to be petted. I have used these and he LOVES them. If I get excited and rub too hard he nips me but the glove protects me amazing. Purchasing a second set for my daughter.
I have a Maine Coon cat whose shedding isn't obvious bc she has peach fur. I was using a short bristle brush with treats but she wasn't happy. I just got these and she loves them (till I continued 20 minutes, still getting fur). I think to her it felt like stimulating petting and I could even brush her stomach. The amount of "peach fuzz" was larger than a baseball even though I brushed her the usual way yesterday. Amazing doesn't do these justice - they're unbelievable for brushing cats and so easy. Love them!
These gloves did not work at all. I guess I can use them to protect my hands from biting or scratching. But for fur grooming or removal? No.
My Alapaha hated being brushed. He would run and refuse to let me get near him with a brush. My groomer recommended these and he absolutely loves them! He now comes running when he sees me put them on. And he relaxes and melts when I use them on him. They remove a LOT of hair because they go deep into his coat. I got the XL because I have large hands, not huge hands, and they fit perfectly. If you're a man with average to large hands get the XL.
We have a 5 year old boxer that sheds greatly. The gloves are amazing. We brush/pet her with them every morning after I take her out. It will never eliminate all of her shedding but drastically reduces it. Her coat even feels softer. When we pet her, we don't get mounds of hair on our hands. I very much recommend this product. Easy, not expensive and our dog enjoys it.
Two out of three cats like these grooming gloves! I prefer these over a brush because i feel like sometimes the brushes can be kind of harsh and scratch their skin but these are gentle while still picking up loose fur. I took one star off only because it’s kind of hard to clean them off. I usually keep one on my right hand, brush, clean the glove with my left hand and hold onto the hair, brush and then when I’m done i use my hand vacuum to grab our all the hair stuck to the glove that i couldn’t remove manually
