Handson Gloves
These gloves did not work on either my long hair Aussies or my short hair pit mix. The static electricity build up as I was brushing my dogs was uncomfortable for me and even worse for the dogs. The hair is not easily removed, either. I tried shaking my hand, I tried peeling it out of the bristles from fingertips downward and vice versa. The aussie hair was entangled and wetting the glove made it all worse. I do NOT recommend this glove for either short hair or long haired dogs. I read the reviews carefully on this product, as well as several other products, and chose this one because people with long hair cats and dogs said it did work. It got some hair off my dogs, but the static electricity, as well as the hair getting tangled in the teeth isn't worth the effort or money. I don't want to even give this glove a 1 but they don't have a zero. I will be more careful about where a product is made from now, too. Chewy worked with me and their customer service support is awesome. THEY get a 10.
Hands on gloves
These gloves are made of very stiff plastic. They fit good and I can bend my fingers. The nubs and the way are are configured on the palm is very uncomfortable and hard to use my palm and make a fist. The nubs are very hard and I did not even try to use them on the cat. Her fur is short and that would have hurt her. Something with a softer rubber would be better. I should have known not to order something like that without seeing and touching them.
Love it and so does my cat~
My cat sheds quite a bit. I like how the hair clings to the gloves when I'm brushing him and how easily the hair comes off of him. He has about medium hair, its not as long as a persian but it's not as short as most short haired cats. He really likes how it feels, he will rub against it and even let me pet his stomach with it! It's great for me because even if he did try to scratch me it doesn't get through the gloves. I think the only drawback is that it might not fit all hand sizes. It fits me rather well but I have small hands. My partner has bigger hands than I, and it barely fits him. So do keep that in mind when purchasing. Other than that it works great
Better than brush
This takes away more loose fur from my dog than just brushing. When this is used before AND after bath, it seems much less fur on floors. However, sometimes it takes more effort to take fur from the gloves. If you rince in water after using, they come off easily.
Great Grooming Product!
Not only do these gloves remove hair really well, but my dog LOVES the feel of the massage he gets with them. A win-win! The dust bunny reduction is noticeable.
Great gloves but ripping after one use
I love these gloves for dog grooming! They lather nicely and also remove hair for dry brushing. The only downside is the quality. They are started to tear after one use. Let’s hope they stay intact
Hands on gloves
When I would pick up his brush or rake he runs from me. When I pick the gloves up my dog runs to me. He loves them.
Great product definitely recommend
This product works super well. I use it dry and during baths with my golden samoyed mix. He's all hair and this helps loosen it up during bathing and between furminating. I can even use it on my cats. My older guy has sensitive skin and hates being brushed, but he loves these gloves. I get tons of hair off of him and I haven't seen a hairball in my house since purchasing and using these. If you're on the fence about this product, definitely give it a try!
Good alternative to a comb
My rabbit absolutely hates combs, etc., and does not even like to have his butt touched. These gloves are great because I can start off by massaging his shoulders and then work my way down to the areas with loose hair that needs to come out. You do need to stop and clean the gloves fairly often, but that's to be expected. These gloves are well-made and sturdy.
