    Great Mealworms

    By Themax54 on Nov 13, 2020

One of my favorite chicken treats are mealworms. The chickens love them and come running when I shake the small container I put them in. I like free range but at night it is easy to put them up with these mealworms.

    Chickens CAN dance

    By on

I have 4 hens that start dancing as soon as they see the red bag come out. If they are out digging, and hear the bag rattle, they come running. The worms are huge, much bigger than other brands.

Contaminated with beetle shells and burn't

    By on

I have purchased probably 50 pounds of these over the last 18 months. The last 5 lb bag was full of beetle shells and the worms were burnt from the drying process. We screened out as many of the contaminants as we could and fed them to the wild birds not our chickens. I am sure they would not have hurt the chickens but none the less we were not taking any chances. Trying to decide whether this was random or if there is a whole pallet with the same thing?
