These treats do not need to be refrigerated. Once opened, they should be stored in a sealed container in a cool dry place.

Good ingredients. Too hard.

I am another that should have read the reviews. I was looking for soft training treats, like actual sausage. These are crunchy. Not what I expected. I will not buy again. But, if you are looking for a crunchy treat for your dog that likes to chew, these may be a good option.

Not good for training, hard as a rock

The treats are advertised as good for training however they are hard as a rock. Even aside from training- I would not recommend this product.

Another Treat Persnickety Dog Likes

A local supplier as well as Chewy were both out of Happy Howie's Woof Stix, which I normally keep on hand. Chewy offered these Happy Howie's Turkey Sausage Treats as a substitute. They turned out to be a good alternate, but the main thing the two have in common is the manufacturer. These are turkey flavored (turkey is #1 ingredient), shaped like sausages, and about 3" long. Woof Stix are beef flavored, shaped like sticks, and about 6" long. But my dog liked these also and accepted them similarly. The interior of the "sausage" is drier than I expected from the name, but my dog likes crunchy treats too.

Kobie's Dessert

My dog thinks his meal is not complete until he gets half of one of these sausages. I've been buying them from a local store where they are in an open box but these are much fresher in a resealable bag.

Not so Happy

These are hard as a rock and even putting them in the microwave to cut still makes it difficult for my dog to eat. She loves the smell but I will not feed her these.

Hard as a rock

I suppose I did not read the reviews thoroughly when I bought these because if I had, I would have known not to buy them. This product is extremely hard and even after putting them in the microwave to try to soften them, I have to use a steak knife to cut them up. I’m giving 2 stars because my dog seems to enjoy them and likes the smell.

Dogs love them. They are solid but easy to snap into smaller pieces. Smells good!
