Description

Give your pet a private retreat with the HappyCare Textiles Round Dog & Cat Cave Bed. The hooded cover gives him a place to nest and get some alone time, and it can be easily unzipped and removed to make it a more traditional bed. Both the bed and the cave hood are lined with ultra-cozy Sherpa that will keep him happily snoozing, and it’s extra durable to withstand active pets and the messes that tend to come with them. The pillow insert can be removed so that the cover can be washed, making it easy to keep clean and looking like new.

Key Benefits
  • Cave bed features a detachable hood that gives dogs and cats a private retreat.
  • Plastic pole in the hood helps keep the shape and prevent it from collapsing on your pet.
  • Anti-slip bottom keeps the bed in place on slippery surfaces like wood and tile.
  • Both the top of the bed and the cave hood are lined with an ultra-cozy and durable Sherpa.
  • Pillow insert is removable and cover can be machine washed for easy care.

    Could be better

    By on

When I purchased this bed I thought the top would stay up off the bed a bit. The top lays flat on the bed leaving no opening. If the plastic rod that should hold the top up was longer it would acheive this. Not sure if mine is a flaw or if they all are like that. We took the top off, other than that the bed is soft and the materials seem to be sturdy.

    my pig loves this bed

    By on

this is my pigs favorite bed. she sleeps on it and hides herself in it. She used to fit in it but as shes grown shes gotten a little big, none the less she still loves it. She did break the plastic inner pole, but again, she doesnt care and it doesnt stop her from burring herself in it.

    Tapers too much

    By on

The design tapers to much for our Italian Greyhound to get into it. It is nice quality and we purchased it because of the reinforced opening, but it's too small inside.

item covering the pillow part got all shredded up and I have to go around picking up the shredded pieces from them doing their circle and fluff ritual all the time.

    Cats are finicky

    By on

Well, I washed this up and waited a week to see if my Calico would bury herself in it like she does the blankets. I even tried spraying a little catnip in the back to try and entice her. Nope, she wouldn’t have anything to do with it. It just looked so warm and cuddly. So, I tried stuffing my 16 year old cat in it. Nope! He didn’t want to be in it either. So, I unzipped the hood and placed the fleece side up on a chair and placed the pillow near the patio door where the sun shines in. Finally! It is getting used.

Perfect for small dogs and washable. The top is removable too so that was convenient.

    Very good little beds.

    By on

I like everything about them except they make a little noise by the material they are made of. I don't really have enough to quote cause my dog wont leave her old bed. A normal dog would probably love it. Very well made and I like the fact that the top blanked can be zipped off when winter is over and it becomes a regular bed. Very smart.

    Excellent quality bed!

My little 12-lb Boston Terrier loves this bed!! I love the gray color and the durable quality of the water resistant (I think?) exterior. The top zips off, which I think would be good for dogs who are timid at first about getting all the way in. When I first got it, she sniffed it and tried to chew on it. I let her sniff and sit on it and everything except chew it. She had about 3 sessions of that, which lasted about 5 minutes each over the course of a few hours. I just left it out for her to be able to explore it, but I didn't let her chew on it (she's still a puppy). Then when she started getting tired, she ran over and got right in! She loves it! It's been 2 nights now, and she used to come into the bedroom with me when I went to sleep for the night... now, at bedtime, she lounges in her cave bed while I read in my bed... she climbs up to my bed using her stairs when she feels like it. Thanks, Chewy, for giving me my bedtime reading space back! :) Highly recommend this bed for burrowers!! … more
