Not for Chewers
Hardly lasted 5 minutes before my dog tore it up, which wouldn't be such a problem if the rubber ball wasn't filled with couch foam. It's small, its everywhere, and I had tot take the toy away before my dog ate the foam.. I'm hoping she didn't actually eat any, but I'll be keeping a close eye on her now to make sure..
Fun toy for my Aussie.
My boy plays hard with all of his stuff. He loves to play tug of war and this toy has been holding up great with his strong jaws.
Puppies loved it at puppy play school
I volunteer at a shelter in the puppy play school (daycare). I wanted something I could offer that would both engage 2 rambunctious puppies, or give me something I could use in tug of war. This fit the bill, and is a new fav for everyone.
Tough Enough
Good play toy for my Border Collie. She seems to like to play tug and it is durable enough for her.
Not for strong dogs
I usually don’t care if I waste money on toys my dog is going to destroy but this one didn’t even last ten minutes. Not for strong dogs like my pitbull.
Rope Disentigrated
This toy didn't last 2 days as our dogs (Labroador, Bearded Collie) had the rope shredded by end of 1st day.
Disappointed
Within 10 minutes of receiving this tug toy, my dog had it reduced to loose strands of rope.
Hartz Dura play tug of fun double ring
Terrible toy, it fell apart as soon my golden retiver bit into the center. The inside was filled fine white stuffing. The stuffing was all over our house in minutes. I pray the stuffing will not make my dog ill.
Repeat Purchase
This has been a favorite of our 2 dogs and their playdates. It held up well despite being left out in the elements more often then I really want to admit.The Hartz Dura Tug has had a slight redesign. The rope, which had been unsheathed, now has a covering. I hope this one will hold up as well as it's predisessor. FYI this was never used a chew toy (just for tug and especially for an energetic game of doggie keep away. .
Great for a full grown dog
This is a well made toy and appears ver durable but it is too big right now for my pup. I have put it away until she gets bigger!
