Tough but squeaker didn't last
Our girl loves to play tug and this is perfect. She didn't try and get the braids or strings...just grips the middle. It's held up pretty good to her pulls (she's a hound) but the squeaker...she did that in within 10 minutes of play. Still one of her favorites though.
runs too big
Measured accordingly and chart stated size S. Have made it the smallest it will go and still too big. And no directions on how to return. Otherwise harnesses looks seems to be just what I wanted.
I've bought it twice
My dog loves this so much, I've bought it twice... and probably will a third time. It's one of the toys that's lasted longer than a few days. The only thing I don't like is that it's full of foam and I'm afraid he'll try to eat it or choke on the bits, so I always end up throwing it away once he begins to tear it apart. Otherwise, it's a great toy and both my pups love playing with it.
Favorite Toy
So much fun with our almost adult black lab. He plays with it by himself, as a tug toy with his human or other neighbor dogs or a catch and fetch. So sorry that this item is currently not available as I would order several. The original lasted about 3 months with heavy indoor and outdoor play.
Very nice toy
I bought this for all of our dogs and one in particular Really liked it!! She's a pit mix and is sometimes alittle rough with any toy, but she now appears to have it as her very favorite One!!
Pleasantly surprised!
My 65 lb dog really likes this toy. It is quite a bit larger than it looks in the photo, which is great. I don't know if this would be good for a "super chewer" however. My dog loves carrying things around in his mouth when he goes for a walk, and this toy passed the test! Bonus: it squeaks!
Would NOT recommend!
I bought a very similar Hartz toy for my dogs. The only difference was the shape of the squeaker toy in the middle. (It was a round ball.) Within a matter of minutes, the squeaker no longer worked. Within the first hour the rope was chewed in half on one end. I threw it in the trash, and was glad that the rope hadn't been swallowed.
Not for chewers
This product is not for strong chewers. My puppy destroyed it in an hour chewy was really good about making a recommendation and crediting our account as we were unhappy with the purchase.
Fun toy but not durable at all
My dog loved this toy and played with it 'til the latex tore and the squeakers broke. Since he enjoyed the toy so much I bought a replacement. Unfortunately the squeakers broke immediately (same day as we received it) and without the squeakers he doesn't like it.
Good Quality Dog Toy
I have a dog who is a destructive, heavy chewer and he loves this toy and it is still intact after several weeks. He really enjoys playing with it with the other dog, with me or even, by himself. We love it.
