I have tried many many pads, some were good, some okay Most were too expensive These are the best bang for your buck as well as the most absorbent and best at killing smells I have an elderly cat who sometimes makes it to the litter box, but often stops just as she gets mostly in, there for when she pees, it actually hits outside the box. I put a pad there and it's all good, No worries, plus she has a condition where she has incredibly stinky pee. With the Hartz Gel - Lavender it's a non-issue like with some other brands. Even if I'm gone all day and sometimes hit the bed forgetting, still good the next day! I won't use any other pads
These pads were a complete waste of money. They are super thin and non absorbent. The size is good for my Puggle, but I just wish they were better quality. Instead of using these pads, just place a sheet of paper on the ground. You'll get the safe effect. I would not buy these again nor would I recommend anyone doing so.
I use the pads in the bottom of the carrier cage for my cats, in case they have an accident on the way to the vet's clinic. I also put them under the litter boxes. The lavender scent neutralizes the odor and also has a great calming effect on my fur babies!
The pads leaks and bleeds thru to the floor. It doesn't eliminate odors, does not absorb liquid into gel. I have slipped and fallen several times
Angel is a parvo survivor and will never be normal, we go through pads every week and until these, always had messes..these dont leak for us and are our godsend
I use this for my bunny, it picks it up pretty good and doesn't leak that often. With big accidents it sometimes leaks so you got to be careful. Would recommend for smaller animals and wish I got a bigger size. 50 doesn't last as long so I would get 2 boxes. What I can say is it's dipped in strong lavender so smells great but if you have a sensitive nose I wouldn't buy this.
These are pretty good, I foster dogs and when they’re not potty trained I go to pee pads, these have worked great for the last couple fosters, however, sometimes they do leak or don’t absorb the pee all the way and when you go to pick it up it’ll drip onto the floor. Other than that, the foster dogs go right to them in the middle of the night or whenever they just need to go
Don't cheap out and buy these. You will use multiples just to make up for what they are lacking...very flimsy and pretty much a waste of money.
I've tried many different brands of pee pads and these really don't leak, as advertised! No more having to clean the pee that goes through the other pads. Good job Hartz!
Our puppy was doing great with potty training until we started using these. The lavendar smell is so strong at first, like the pads were soaked in perfume. This strong smell made our puppy think they shouldn’t be peed/pooped on, so he went everywhere except for the pad. The only time he used the pad is when we used a clean one to wipe up just a little of the mess on the floor to get the scent of urine on the pad, and then re-used. We have to keep going back and forth between cleaning up messes on the floor or rugs, and re-using soiled pads while we wait on the unscented ones to arrive. We’ve basically gone backwards on the potty training progress. Due to the strong perfumy smell, I do NOT recommend for the purpose of training young puppies. They might be okay for older dogs.
