No toy is indestructible. Supervise your pet when using since small parts can present a choking hazard or internal blockage. Discontinue use if the toy is damaged. Keep out of reach of children. Note: Cats usually begin to appreciate catnip between 6 and 8 months of age. Use no more than a few times per week for maximum kitty fun. To keep catnip fresh, store in a safe, cool, dark place. Catnip is an herb that grows naturally in the environment. We recommend catnip be used exclusively by cats. It is not intended for human consumption. Monitor play.

Cute toy but it is so loud! My cat previously had a chirping bird toy but the batter ran out so I wanted to get her a new one for Christmas. This one is at least 4 times louder than the old toy. It scares us when she starts playing with it. We have to take it away at night because it is way too loud.
This was a gift for a neighbor's new kitty....and he drags it everywhere...even to bed with him.
My cat goes nuts over this! She played with it until she was worn out, she’d rest a bit, then play again. I’m just sorry Chewy didn’t stock it again.
This toy is pretty loud, and my cat doesn't like loud toys so it wasn't a hit. I'm not mad though because I don't like the noise it makes either. It's high pitched and can seem piercing if in the same room. I also got the green bird, which I didn't like as much as the red one. Would rather be able to choose which one you get instead of it being random. But I ended up giving it to a friend who has several outdoor cats who seem to enjoy it. She complains that it's an annoying, loud chirping but she's happy her cats seem to like it.
My cats and dog (though mostly because the cats were interested in them) went bananas over these toys. Very realistic bird sounds so much so when on the phone people hearing them actually stop what they were saying to ask me when I got birds. The cats don't have to work hard at activating the noise box so they have kept interest in them much longer than most other toys. These toys are fairly sensitive to light touch so if you're a light sleeper type.... you might want to hide these from the cats while trying to sleep. Absolutely love these toys and am so glad I stumbled upon them here on Chewy.
I gave this item 5 stars based on the superb customer service and free replacement of this item within 24 hours. The first chirping bird had a dead battery and replacement worked perfect. Really impressed.
This item chirped ONCE, then next day stopped working...no sound...horrible product and a waste of money. I placed a large order, and 3 things went wrong in order this toy being one of them. It's very frustrating to spend hard earned money and either not get correct product or get inferior product. I won't order again.
This is an adorable toy that my almost 100% blind rescued cat Bowie loves. He can hear it to grab it then plays with the feathers. I tied it to the end of a string to hang it up in front of him to play with him & he loves it more.
My cat likes the bird sound and has finally figured out how to make it chirp, but he really doesn’t play with it. It’s a bit big and clunky. I’m fine with him entertaining himself just with the sound it makes. It adds a different dimension to his play toys.
