We’ve had several versions of these types of toys but this one is absolutely the best. Our little guy pats at it, pushes it with his nose and just loves it. He could spend hours popping out little treats (his regular food).
Toby loves it! As a matter of fact. It is the only sure fire way that he will eat enough dry food. I think its the activity that attracts him to it. He just pushes it around and eats 1 to 3 pieces at a time until its empty. Then we fill it up again. He 100% likes eating that way than from a bowl.
I love this cute little treat dispenser, and so does my puppy! She's almost 8 months old and around 40 lbs, if that gives you an idea of her size. She's a heavy chewer, but this little piggy has held up great. But I will note that she's definitely more gentle with this guy than a lot of her other toys, since she knows she can just shake and throw it around to get the treats/food out.
MY dogs tried for awhile -no luck getting different types of treats. I even tried with a butter knife-and not much more luck then the dogs had.
I put a chewy stick into the opening at the top, wrapped it up and put it under the Christmas tree. As soon as I went to work, my dog opened his Christmas present! he waited patiently for 3 days until he got the chance. Greaqt fun.
Put small treats into pig but they would not fall out & no way for dog to get them out. They were tiny trests.
I am impressed by how well this has held up so far. Keeps my dog entertained for quite some time. I would highly recommend.
This is a great interactive toy. It has kept my dog busy for hours. Our dog has doggie dementia and an article I read recommended getting him some interactive toys this one has worked great!
Loved except for the nose fell off after a few uses. It’s just glued on. The toy was really cute and my dogs liked it. My dogs are not aggressive toys and all that we have a puppy they haven’t gone through any of their other rubber toys yet. However, after we used it a few times with treats in it, I found it like this – I still haven’t found its nose… you can actually still use it with treats stuffed in both ends, but that’s not the way it was supposed to work and I’m not sure how much longer it will last in general.
I was a little hesitant about buying it for my pit/chiweenie mix dog. But it is made well to withstand his roughness.
