Ineffective Waste of Money and Effort

    By on

First of all, my cat hated the oily residue that would, despite my best efforts, inevitably leak onto the fur around her ears. She even caused a bald patch on her leg by excessively using her front leg to attempt to clean that area. I tried drying it up and off with cotton pads, a microfiber towel, and even a dry-shampoo spray, but nothing worked. It wasn't til at least a week after the last dose that her fur around her ears was back to normal. Secondly, I followed the instructions to the t, and did two rounds of this (with a period in-between as suggested), only to find her ears coated in ear mite debris at the end of this whole episode. I tried this because it was the most cost-effective option First of all, my cat hated the oily residue that would, despite my best efforts, inevitably leak onto the fur around her ears. Secondly, I followed the instructions to the t, and did two rounds of this (with a period in-between as suggested), only to find her ears coated in ear mite debris at the end of this whole episode. I tried this because it was the most cost-effective option, but also because I trusted this brand. I don't recommend it because it caused a lot of additional pain and suffering to my cat and myself and did not resolve the issue at all. I would have spent less money by buying a different treatment the first time. … more

    it really works

    By on

I’ve used this before but I recently saw my kitty just got re infested with mites. I’m thinking because I didn’t clean her well and she was left with some eggs. She’s very calm during the process. Doesn’t seem to have any reaction like other reviews. Her little ear is soo much better after first use.

    used for non-intended purposes

    By on

i used this product on my small rabbit because i can’t afford to take him to the vet. basically i was afraid that he had some kind of ear parasite and tried to buy something quickly to get rid of them. i found this and it didn’t harm my rabbit’s ears despite his age and size, so A+ for safety.

    Not Effective for My Cat

    By on

My senior cat had a ear mite infection and I bought this specific product because it was the most economical. I used it once a week for 6 weeks and his ear mite infection wasn’t clearing up. We did not have a harmful reaction to the medication like other reviews but I don’t think it was working to clear up the infection. I would not purchase again. I bought a different more expensive brand called “Miracle Care R-7M Ear Mite Treatment Kit with Bonus Ear Cleaner for Dogs & Cats” on chewy and by the end of the first week his ears were almost perfect.

    Eat mite treatment

I’m honestly not 100%sure if this worked. Ear mites spread quickly so I treated all 3 of my cats because they were all shaking their heads a lot. I tried to be cheap and use this instead of getting expensive medicine from the vet but if I notice they keep shaking their heads I think I’ll get the vets opinion

Works great for such an inexpensive product

    By on

I was surprised that this inexpensive product actually worked. I noticed improvement from the first application. Then only con is that there is very little of it. I do not believe it's 100 drops, no way. More like 30 drops.

Loved product but didn't get it all.

This worked after the first application, but while holding poor Gypsy tight, the first application was EMPTY! So Gypsy had to endure way more stress than was needed.

Ordered the Ultra Guard ear mite treatment by Hartz from Chewy. Applied as directed. Mites we’re gone and ear inflammation back to normal within 4 days. Thank you, Chewy. You saved me a veterinarian visit and my cat thanks you, too.
