Hartz UltraGuard Plus Flea & Tick Pet Carpet Powder, 16-oz bottle

I have been using this product for almost 15 years now and I have never had complaints. The first I used this was when I moved into my first apartment and it was infested with fleas. After calling a fumigation company and getting my whole apartment treated by them, the guy told me about this product and I’ve never looked back. Now when I move into anywhere, I first use this on all carpeted areas at least 24 hours before moving in and I never have a flea problem. I now have a dog and two cats that are all on flea prevention and have my own home but always have this product in my laundry room just in case. I've only used a couple of times but I believe it worked. The smell was like a baking soda smell. My floors smelled good after. I vacuumed up well. Will use again.

Clumping clumpy, can't get it out of containers steadily, does it work I do not know I tried spreading at the first day haven't touched it again it's a paperweight

Works for a few weeks way less fleas for sure and less inching I leave it on longer then two hours not a permanent solution but does work a little

Trying to get rid of the fleas and I still have them so I don't think this is working

so whoever packaged this clearly did not realize that the powder was in a container made of cardboard. The container was completely smashed and powder was all over box. There was a little still in container, I just scooped it out of box and spread it. Ugh.

Does what it says, easy to use, no guess work or guestions needed (THE ANSWERS ARE ALL ON THE BACK!). But for those who always need to know: MADE IN THE USA! Vacuum before use. Cover Fish and food (yours as well as theirs). Remove Birds and amphibians, etc. to another room. Cover only a 3x3 feet area (with product...DUH!!) at a time. Wait for dust to settle before allowing animals back into area. WAIT 2 HOURS! Remove and recover all items you uncovered or allowed back in the room. VACUUM AGAIN. Don't worry as long as you didn't change the bag yet, all bugs you vacuumed up the first time will be killed with the stuff you just vacuumed up. Remove vacuum bag. NO you don't need to throw away HEPA filters... it's their job to keep the crap (yes I refer to flea poop) contained inside them, but do empty canisters into a plastic bag and go ahead and wash out the inside to keep any future dumpings from containing residue. DISPOSE OF IN PLASTIC! That's it! WAIT 30 DAYS BEFORE REAPPLYING TO THAT AREA! (I worded it that way, "area", because I "personally" have applied it to other items in the same room with no ill effects to living things or beings. "I sigh...as long as I follow the rules...sigh, again,...some people need to think for themselves!"). This seems to be doing what it says it does but I am not totally convinced yet. I will continue to use it for the time being.

I can't tell it works at all . Seems like the bowl of Dawn & water under a light works better .

This is not what I wanted I wanted powder to put on my dogs ... This is for carpets and I dont have carpets
