Harvest Seed & Supply Mealworm Wild Bird Food, 10-lb bag

I've tried to get mealworms before but they always blow away, or the birds just don't find them. Because they are mixed in that doesn't happen! The bug eaters come to see what the seed eaters are doing and then find the worms. I've had robins, bluebirds, redwing blackbirds, and a thrasher at the feeder. I mixed in chili sauce to keep the squirrels out, and it works just as good as with normal seed. Love this stuff!

I have purchased this twice, although the second time the bag was split open in transit and I had to throw most of it away. It has attracted many different types of birds up here in southern New Hampshire. The big treat has been the number of bluebirds it has brought to my feeders this winter. They love mealworms. (Chewy refunded me the cost of the second bag, but I wish the packing was more thoughtful. This is not the first time this has happened with heavy and lighter objects mixed in together with little to no cushioning.)

I was pleased before receiving the seeds that the variety included meal worms. I have filled two feeders side by side, one with only black oiled sunflower seeds and the other the variety of seeds which I purchased from your company. I haven’t seen one bird eating from the mixed variety and yet the black oiled seeds have been frequently visited. The meal worms I’ve noticed are very small and not in abundance. The millet is a waste! So, you can tell I’m not exactly thrilled with my purchase. I don’t know who will eat those seeds.

I have four feeders. The feeder w this mealworm seed is not popular w the birds in my area in San Diego County. I bought four bags so I’ll give the rest to a friend up north. Maybe his birds w like this feed

Great product. I like to add a bag of this to my regular wild bird seed and a bag of the red berries seed and mix it together. I get so many more varieties of birds

So many mealworms! I barely left the feeder when the birds started flocking in! Great seed! Will buy again!!!

All of the critters love this food!! I have 4 Blue Jays that come when I call! Also the little sparrows and purple Finches, pairs of Cardinals, etc. a Variety for them all! I give the squirrels some of the huge sunflower seeds too!

Seems like over night this product brought in many more birds maybe double. The seed looked good and fresh not Dusty like so many optional brands.

All the birds just love this seed, including my chickens and guineas! It’s a treat to them, they gobble it!!

For some reason Chewy is discontinuing this product. Or it could be Harvest is closing shop... But the birds seem to absolutely devour this stuff! They love it and it has a nice mix for so many different birds.
