Does it come with instructions?

This items instructions are: Machine Washable, air dry or cool dryer. We recommend hooking the Velcro to the garment in a closed position to prevent snagging. We also recommend placing wrap in wash bags to prevent Velcro hook snagging other clothes.
What unit is the sizing listed in? Inches?

The sizing chart may be located in the photos or by clicking the “Size” tab, on the product page. The chart refers to measurement in inches. To select the best size we recommend that you measure your dog's length individual dimensions and if the dog happens to be in between sizes, it's then recommended to select the bigger size.
What material is this vest made out of? Also, does anyone know if the material has a comparable thickness to the Thundershirt? Or if it's thicker/thinner?

The material is a stretch poly material that it has a loop fabric so the hook side of the Velcro attaches anywhere on the garment. This allows for maximum adjustability. It is a little thicker than a Thundershirt because it has a little bit of breathable foam in the center that helps give shape to the garment and hold the loop/hook in place.
How does the thunder coat buffer from holding in blanket soft talk does not help?
