Description

Remember to measure your pet for the paw-fect fit. Take care of your dog’s precious paws with the Healers Urban Walkers Dog Boots. Designed for everyday use, these boots are like tennis shoes for dogs, with the intention to protect them from common paw injuries and extreme weather conditions. Made with a lightweight, breathable fabric that dries quickly, they offer a comfortable and flexible fit that allows for natural movement as your dog walks and runs. The wraparound design and fuzzy fastener hook ensures that the boots stay in place no matter where you go, and the non-skid sole provides plenty of traction on slippery surfaces.

Key Benefits
  • Everyday, outdoor protective boot that prevents common paw injuries and protects paws against the elements like snow or hot asphalt.
  • Wraparound design and high-tensile fuzzy fastener hook enables a secure fit that stays in place, with a wide strap that spreads tension for a comfortable fit.
  • Flexible and lightweight, the non-skid sole allows for natural movement while providing traction on slippery surfaces.
  • Designed by a former Nike shoe designer and tested by the National Guide Dogs for the blind.
  • Made in the USA and comes as a pair because front paws and back paws may require a different fit.

Let's Measure

Please use our Pawprint-able Sizing Guide to help you obtain your pet's paw measurements. For the best fit, match the below dimensions to your pet's measurements as closely as possible. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two.

  • Paw Width: Using our Pawprint-able Sizing Guide, place your pet's paw on the diagram and mark the widest points at the left and right side of the paw. This area is usually near the base of the toes.

  • Paw Length: With you pet's paw still in position, mark the longest points at the front and back of the paw; remember your pet's nails will need to fit too.

Size Paw Width Length of Boot
X-Small 1 inch 3.5 inches 4 inches
Small 1.5 inches 4.25 inches 5.5 inches
Small/Medium 2 inches 4.75 inches 6.25 inches
Medium 2.25 inches 5.25 inches 7 inches
Medium/Large 2.5 inches 5.75 inches 7.5 inches
Large 3 inches 6.25 inches 8.5 inches
X-Large 3.5 inches 6.5 inches 9.5 inches

    Almost great product

    By on

We watched quite a few videos from manufacturers for this type of dog boots and really liked the design. However, when they came and we tried them on our Shih Tzu the outer bottom layer was just too inflexible for a dog that weighs so little. When she would stand in them, nicely fastened, they were stiffer than her little body could compensate for and so they sort of "pushed-back" on her and she was not able to maneuver normally. I think that for smaller and lighter dogs the outer thick layer that meets the street needs to be more flexible or perhaps trimmed down slightly. A few small improvements would make this an awesome product for smaller dogs too.

    Not good for snow walking

    By on

The ordering process was quick and easy and I was looking forward to trying the new boots on my dog for the next walk. I had no trouble getting them on and my dog didn't mind them at all. So we went for our walk in the snow. After 1/2 mile the boots were gone !! Stuck in the snow and not to be found again until maybe in the spring. So much to the boots.

    Works well for your walk

Hello. I actually got these to let Golden Retriever foot heal. I would say make sure you measure right. Make sure you trim the Nails and due claws. First few time's I put them on they would not stay on for long. I found out it took a few time's for me to learn you have to get the ankle part on snug with the strap. Apparently some dogs have big feet and smaller ankles so this is important. Some dogs have higher Dew claw so you got to make a decision to go over or under the dew claw on the front. I think generally you need a snug boot rather than loose because with a heavy dog they will tend to expand out for a good fit. After a few tries I got them on secure! I suggest as soon as you get them Hello. I actually got these to let Golden Retriever foot heal. I would say make sure you measure right. Make sure you trim the Nails and due claws. Now used to them she raise's here foot for me to put them on. I put a few strip's of Goop on the leather boot bottoms as not to slip on slick floors. … more

My boxer loves them! He's strutting around like a stallion! He's real sick and was not active at all! Now, he's up and down the stairs all the time, following me like he used too!

    Healers dog boots

    By on

We have tried many styles of boots for our 50# pit bull/mix dog. HOT Arizona summer requires protection for her paws but trying to get the right fit and keep them on appropriately is the challenge. Healers are the best boot we have found: their mesh construction allows more flexibility and reinforced leather bottom offers the durability for our rugged terrain. However, 2-1/2 weeks of use and the leather bottom is pulling off the boot and we will try re-gluing. Furthermore, we found that a small sock inside helps to pad her vulnerable paws.

My 7 yr old boxer has endes up with the dreaded, sad degenerative myelopathy. He has no control or feeling in his back left leg so it just sorta drags along.after trying a few different brands I’m happy to say these boots have helped him TREMENDOUSLY with walking normal again! Once I put it on his foot he of course was walking weird for a few seconds but then realized he can actually walk straight again. He is so happy with it and so am I to be able to continue our short walks while we can and protect his paw from any scraps and cuts he would get without it. He is 70 lbs, taller skinny built boxer and a medium boot fits his paws great! LOVE these!

I was super pleased with these boots. I purchased them for my elderly Newfoundland who had difficulty walking because her hind legs would 'splay' out on our moderately slippery hardwood. These boots helped prove the concept that boots could help her. Easy to put on for me. And for her, she was immediately comfortable in them and didn't try to take them off as she has done with other boots that come higher up on the ankle. However, for my purposes, they didn't quite provide enough grip and just now bought a different pair that actively are 'anti-slip' (also at Chewey). However, I'm really grateful for the Healers as they 'proved the concept', so to speak. The ability for my 130lb Newfoundland I was super pleased with these boots. The ability for my 130lb Newfoundland girl to walk without slipping has improved her confidence and she's now even 'galloping' to the door when it's time to go out to do 'you-know-what''! It's also lengthened her life as I'm only 5', 110 lbs and 68 years old and would have been unable to help her go 'out' if she were unable to walk. Thank you Chewies! … more

My boxerdoodle Cecil had a FCE April 12. He is walking again but has banged his knuckles and bloodied his toenail. Socks just weren’t doing the job. These things are amazing and they actually stay on his foot. I highly recommend measuring your dog’s foot. I would have just went with an XL since he is a big dood, but he actually needed a M/L and they stay on.
