I really wanted to like this product, but unfortunately, our cats didn't. What I liked about Health Extension is that it has quality ingredients and is made in the USA. That apparently doesn't matter to our two boys. Instead of eating this food, they'd go over and steal the cheap stuff from our neighbor cat's bowl. I tried adding sardine juice to the food. Bacon fat couldn't even tempt them. Guess I'm buying the cheap stuff from now on. I was able to donate the rest to the humane society. I hope some other kitties will actually eat it.

My 7 kitties needed an "all life stages" food. It sounded very healthy and was reasonably priced, so we tried it. They normally gobble their food right up, but not this one. They really don't seem to care for it. They love the canned food though!

I was using the health extension turkey and salmon flavor for my two cats, but it seemed like they didn't care for it too much, so thought I would try the chicken and brown rice flavor and they like it quite a bit more. I didn't want to change brands and my local pet store only carries the turkey and salmon flavor, so I went with chewy.com and am very happy. Thank you chewy.

Cats hate this food but when they're desperate to eat, they will eat it. It's very gentle on their stomachs but I am afraid they're not eating enough so I'm moving on from this product.

High quality food but this manufacturer recently changed their formula (adding turmeric and coconut oil). After 9 years I'm searching for a new cat food as my cat is unwilling to eat the new formulation.

My 5 cat's have lost interest in their current food, it has also become harder to find for purchase. I've been looking for new food's to feed on rotation so they won't get bored. I chose Health Extension based on the ingredients, they seem as healthy as what they have been eating. They were eager at first to eat it, (something new and different) but it did not take them long to turn up their noses at it...literally! They go up to the bowl, take a whiff and walk away while shooting me a "what was I thinking look"! It may be great for other cats, just not for mine...I don't believe in "if they get hungry enough they'll eat it", cats like people can sometimes be picky. I've purchased the ocean fish Pro Pac hard food n now the Healthy Extensions, both of which my two kitties love n eat. The biggest difference is there is no strong fish aroma in the Healthy Ext brand. I like that the Pro Pac provides benefits for hair ball control n oral care so I will buy that brand in the future again. The Healthy Ext brand boasts maintaining cat n kitten health so I like that. Mew Mew will be 2 yrs old on 06/28/2017 n CocoHead will be 4 yrs on August 8, 2017. I got both of them from shelters. Mew has been with me since she was 3 mos n Coco since she was 2 yrs. I want to start them off right so they will have a nice long happy n healthy life.
