  • Squirrels are smart

This product really doesn’t work. The bolt that holds the two hooks isn’t strong enough. The weight of the squirrel very quickly pulls the bolt and the two hooks apart. Sadly squirrels are very determined to get the bird seed, so the first time they might slide off the plastic rim but the second time they just reach over from the pole to the feeder and then help themselves to the seed. Inevitably between the squirrels just jumping or the plastic rim pulling apart, the squirrels win!

However, I do wish the hooks were a bit shorter but both were the same length.
