Universal design works with hanging and pole-mounted bird feeders. Fits 1/2-inch to 1 1/4 inch poles with flange mounting and set-screws.
For hanging bird feeders: Insert plastic hook adapter (103094) through plastic collar (WV010), insert plastic collar through plastic baffle (WV009), and attach hanging cable (103105) to hook within plastic collar.
For pole-mounted bird feeders: Start self-tapping screws (WT092) into plastic collar (WV010), place collar onto pole at desired height and tighten screws, and place baffle (WV009) over top of collar.

Baffling to me

I bought a second baffle to prevent the squirrels from eating the expensive bird food. I buy the squirrels food also but they prefer the birds food. The baffle helps but they are persistent and usually win. The baffle is great, only improvement would be a better hook. It's plastic and not deep enough to assist in the battle of the squirrels.

once I figured out that the hanging wire distance from the tree branch to baffle had to be longer than his body length it works perfect.I am ordering two more for other feeders.

Cheaply made, poorly designed. It blows apart in the wind and has now completely disappeared in last night’s wind. A waste of money.

Heath Universal Squirrel Baffle

Very disappointed in this product. After 2 days, the squirrels were able to hold on by their hind legs to the wire hanger on the top and reach over to get to the suet holder. I lowered the suet, but they soon realized that if they kept jumping on it, the feeder would simply slide off the plastic hook. And good luck if any wind kicks up.

Unfortunately this baffle is too flimsy and flat. The wind whips it around throwing my feeder off the small hook. I purchased S hooks to put on the baffle hooks but they are not working either. They fall off the plastic hook also.
