How many hens fit in the box?

Small services a flock size up to 7 hens. Medium services a flock size up to 20 hens . Large services a flock size up to 45 hens.
Would a medium size be large enough for a Naragansett turkey hen?

The medium size nest box will probably be to small for a turkey to use.
I need to know how tall the opening is for the hens to enter. We have some large hens. Thank you

HenGear nest boxes will easily accommodate larger chicken breeds. The curtain cut-out opening is 5”W x 7”H.
Can this be mounted to the side of a coop? Is there adequate mounting hardware and instructions to do this?

You can mount your collection trays on the front or rear of the nest with the included parts. Assembly instructions are included.

Works great

This was my egg eating coop's last chance at being layers instead of dinner. It's working great, the entrance into the nesting box is not as tall as I expected but the chickens don't mind at all. I almost didn't buy this due to a review that said it was challenging to assemble, but it wasn't bad at all. Very happy with this purchase.

Watch video for better assembly instructions

I am used to assembly all sorts of premanfactured products. These nesting boxes were by far the most difficult to assemble. The paper instructions were terrible. I found the video to be much more useful. So far my girls have gone I side, but no eggs yet. It's only been 2 days since I put it in their coop.
