  • Looks good but my picky chickens don't seem to want it

    By on

I dont know how to rate this stuff fairly because it looks so good. I would eat it! Its full of cracked corn and seeds and beautiful looking colorful multi-grains. But my dang picky chickens don't seem to want it. Maybe its them. The sad thing is I think I'm going to have to go back to their uniform, gray, unappealing laying crumble from the local feed store just to get them to eat. A shame because I love the convenience of Chewy delivery. I guess I'll update my review if they come around.

  • My girls love this!

My chicks love this scratch. They free range in the day. To get them back into their Coop before dark, I throw handfuls of this scratch into their Coop and they come running. Perfect chicken whistle call.

This is a great bag of scratch for my five hens. They look forward to it each morning and it's a great sized bag for the money. Best part, it comes right to my door!!! Now if only Chewy would start selling chicken food like they do cat/dog food :)

  • Only the best for my birds...

    By on

I have a large mixed flock in my coop. Chickens, ducks, guinea fowl and a pet turkey... everyone loves this! I mix in a 15lb bag with my layer pellets and regular scratch grains (100 lbs total) and it has really given everyone the boost they need, especially during molting. As long as its available I will continue to purchase it. I only wish it came in a bag larger than 15 lbs.

  • Chicken feed

    By on

This is amazing, Being a disabled Veteran, I have to drive over 25 miles to get feed for my 5 hens.usually have to get three different bags to mix to get what's in this each bag is 25 lbs. I get this 15 lb bag and get 3 and they are still at better pricing, love the shipping and the best part is I don't have to mix it or drive to get it.
