Training collar
I purchased this collar for training purposed for my dog. He has very long hair and I did not want to rip his hair out. He is walking beautifully.

I mean, it’sa Herm Sprenger, what else do you need to say. You cannot go wrong with his products.
Don't forget the head size.
This has to be able to slip over your dog's head. I did measure my husky's neck and got the correct size for her but it is a little bit of a squeeze to get it over her head. So really I should have gotten one size up, but it works once it's on. The material is extremely light. I was worried it might break because it feels like it's made out of aluminum foil or something cheap. But it is actually pretty strong and I've had no issues even with pulling. It doesn't pull my husky's fur and seems comfortable for her.
It works and we're happy!
We're really pleased that this works because our bulldog is big (and getting bigger.) He acts as excited as a small puppy when he sees other dogs, and it kinda scares other dogs (because he's pretty big and strong -- AND SOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) He has a huge neck, and bulldogs do NOT have the same pain threshhold as other dogs, otherwise I would not use this as my first option (or 5th option in our case.) So that's just a word to pet parents of other breeds. Consider that it will be yanking and closing in on their neck. Consider the girth and strength of your dog and their breed as well as their neck.

This is truly a fur saver! Strong enough to allow for kind control of large, strong dogs, but does not rub or remove fur.

Great collar
this collar has worked great on our rambunctious rough collie. Traditional chain slip collars get caught in her fur, but this works better. It is also light weight. But note that you need to buy it bigger than your dog's neck size by several inches.
Perfect fit
We needed a training collar for our Labrador pup. However, we had concerns about the traditional ones and didn't want prongs. This option gives the same level of control when we need to get her attention but the elongated links keep it from really tightening down and choking her if she pulls too much or gets tangled in brush on a long lead. It is rather more lightweight than ones we've used before, but for her, it's the perfect fit.
