To select the most accurate size collar for your pet, measure the center of their neck with a cloth tape measure, a few inches down from their head. Pull the cloth tape measure snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there's enough room for about two fingers between the collar and your pet's neck for comfort.
We needed a training collar for our Labrador pup. However, we had concerns about the traditional ones and didn't want prongs. This option gives the same level of control when we need to get her attention but the elongated links keep it from really tightening down and choking her if she pulls too much or gets tangled in brush on a long lead. It is rather more lightweight than ones we've used before, but for her, it's the perfect fit.
Sizing is small

I measured my dogs neck at 18". He normally wears a snake chain that is 20" and is a tad big but works, so I assumed that the "19 inch neck" size fur saver would fit, but it didn't even come close to going over his head. Now I see further down in the description it's recommended for a 17" neck... What the heck?
Really like this collar!

I really like this collar! I haven’t used it out walking yet, but when I pulled it out of the package the feel and quality was great. And when I put it on my Swissy it fit over his head and tightened and loosened nicely!
Works great !

I tried other metal slip collars on my Aussie and this is the only one that does not get caught in his fur. Easy on and off too.

Good product. Just thought the links would be a little thicker
Works well but not as good as the original

This collar works well, we are not yet able to determine if it is allowing fur to grow back at his neckline. The collar due to the long links unfortunately does not work as smoothly as traditional small link collars, making corrections inconsistent and may not immediately release.

I got this for my dog its definitely not as advertised it is cheap material it broke the minute I tried to put it on him. Everything you get from this place is getting worse.
Nice fur saver

This fur saver is as described. It is however a bit small for my pack. I read the sizing chart, and my grown pack wears mostly a 20” choke/slip collar so I figured a 19” would be a little more snug but still fit. That one inch difference seems huge. It’s very tight and barely fits anyone in my pack of 4. That is my fault I guess. I am however a bit surprised, as it feels a lot lighter than I expected. Possibly hollow? I thought it would be of heavier quality. I think this would work well for smaller, less strong dogs.
