Massaging action from combing helps to increase circulation, leaving pets looking well-groomed and feeling tip-top.
I really like the brush it's well worth the money. It does a great job grooming my German Shepherd. I only wish that the connection between the handle and the head was a little more rigid. I understand the flexibility is to move with the dog and not put too much pressure.

I had been grooming my Beagle, who sheds a lot, with a rake type brush. When it broke, I decided to buy this. It has a double rake on one side for thick, furry coats, but on the other side it has a small sawtooth ridge, which is what I had been needing but didn't know it. Works very well, just don't press it too hard into the skin to avoid scraping. Dog really loves it, shedding much reduced. Even bends a little where it attaches to the handle, to contour and avoid breakage.
Highly recommend this brush!

We have an Old English Sheepdog who is very, very hairy. She is a big ol floof. We were having a hard time brushing her out and getting her undercoat, so she was matting in some areas (under arms, stomach, etc). This brush is a MIRACLE. It made brushing out her mats a piece of cake, and combing out some of her more tangled areas super easy. Would definitely recommend if you have a longer haired furry friend.
Greatest brush ever.

My cat just stretched out purring when I brushed him. Sam would cry and try to run when using the other comb. Takes the fine hair off in large quantities quickly.

It really pulls out my cats' undercoat that would otherwise end up all over my house.
Love it a lot

I have a gray Persian, "Earl Gray" who loves to be groomed with this grooming tool. He jumps up in my lap while I am on the computer and expects me to brush him. So I have to stop what I am doing and brush him or he won't leave me alone until I do.
It Gets the Job Done!

Gentle but Tough

This brush is tough enough to comb the excess hair out, but gentle enough that my dog no longer bites me when I brush her. Well worth the money.
A little large for cats
on Dec 27, 2017
I found this grooming tool to be a little large for use on cats, but can be manageable. The large tooth side works well for detangling the fur on my cat that has full and thick fur, but does nothing for my other cat that does not. After that I switch to a different tool for de-shedding. The fine tooth side is exactly like the expensive furminator that my vet recommended I get from my local pet store. It does not do a very good job at removing fur. At least to my standards.
A great "brush" for all kinds of coats!

I have 6 (count 'em, 6!) cats with very different coats. The first thing that makes this "brush" stand out is the fact that it adjusts itself. It's moveable. When you're using it, the head is flexible. I have one cat that has thick fur. When I brush her with the long prong side, I don't get much fur from her, but because the head is flexible, it doesn't hurt her. When I use the opposite side of the head, the one with the short teeth, it cuts right through her underside coat. I didn't give it five stars because I think everyone should be really careful about using this brush (or any brush/comb) on their pet. Just because you aren't getting the results you think you should from a brush or combI have 6 (count 'em, 6!) cats with very different coats. Just because you aren't getting the results you think you should from a brush or comb, doesn't mean all you need to do is apply more pressure. It means you haven't found the right grooming brush/comb for the pet you are talking about. The end result is don't hurt your pet because you're using the wrong brush/comb for the pet in question. Keep trying until you find the right thing that works for both of you!… more
