Great for getting all the teeth without a fight
Using a standard toothbrush or handled dog toothbrush CAN be done but my dog hates it and is used to my handling his mouth. This provides the familiarity he needs to not put up a fight and gets the job done well at the same time. The 'small' size was nowhere to be found on the chewy site so I took the suggestion described on the package directions and used half a paper towel, dampened, and then folded into 3rds and wrapped around my finger to get a snug fit. WOrked like a charm!
Very stiff bristles
Too big for small dogs. The material was very stiff and was too large for my fingers. Even the bristles we're stiff, too stiff to really brush the teeth. Might be better suited for a large dog and someone with large fingers.
Good product
These are sturdier than other brands I have used and have a more effective bristle configuration.
Tried. Not good. Prefer the soft 2-sided toothbrush.
The fit on finger is fine. However, do not like the short plastic bristles - not good for cleaning teeth. Bought it to use after her mouth surgery. Thought it would be softer. Wrong! It is the opposite - much harder. The 2-sided soft bristle toothbrush that we always use is much better and accommodates most dog sizes. I do not recommend this as the bristles are too short and hard to properly brush teeth any size teeth. Buy the 2 sided tooth brush and start all size dogs off with the small side - if he is reluctant to let you brush his teeth. Once comfortable (get good tasting toothpaste) if big dog, progress to the big side of the toothbrush. The small side of the 2 sided toothbrush is even better for tiny dogs than this product because it is so much smaller than this product. Cannot recommend this item.
Good Enough
I don’t have anything to compare it to. It’s okay and probably does the job. Still training the dog to tolerate it.
big finger brushes
The pic looked like several size finger brushes but they are BIG ones. Only my thumb fits. They fit my husband but he doesn’t brush their teeth. Disappointed! I will look for some at a pet shop. My pups do not like the brushes I bought from chewy
not a substitue for toothbrush
I've been brushing my dogs teeth for several years! I have a two and half year old and one year old Standard Poodles. I've brushing older dog for a while with toothbrush with ease and excellent results! The issue is getting younger dog in the habit, he get to excited and chews the toothbrush so I tried finger toothbrush, it was kind of easy use but it doesn't seem to brush very well comparison to Virbac toothbrush
Works great!
This works so much better than a handle brush. My pup has a medium sized mouth and she hated the handle brush I was using. She actually doesn’t fight back as much with this fingertip one. I will definitely continue to use these! It is also easier on her gums, the previous bristle brush I used would make her gums irritated.

Hard To Use
These are not good. They are too big for your fingers and it is harder to brush our dog's teeth with them. We will be sticking with the regular toothbrushes.
