    Very Dry Food

    By on

The reviews are right...this food is difficult to remove from the can. It is VERY dry...reminds me like if you refrigerate a dry polenta. You would think if you added water, it would be fine...not really. Maybe on a freshly opened can you can get it to a more pate consistency but if you've refrigerated any portion of it, nope. The best you'll get is little wet chunks. I have a feeling it has high corn/starch content for it to be this way. I mean I guess it's good because your'e not paying for water but that's a lot of starchy corn in the diet. No issues with the food itself. Pup ate it just fine and there were no digestion issues. So for regular feeding, I don't think I'll be going back to this The reviews are right...this food is difficult to remove from the can. So for regular feeding, I don't think I'll be going back to this just because of it's difficulty to work with daily feeding--forget it if you refrigerate half of a portion. However if you need a specialty diet, it's an option over expensive RX food. … more

    canned food

    By on

Since my dog had anemia this is the only canned food he’d eat. Vet gave him a similar brand and would not eat she recommended this one. He enjoys it.

    My dog thinks it's nasty!

It was the worst food I ever purchased for our dog. Felt like I needed a jackhammer to get it out of the can! The dog didn't like it any better, would try to water it down all the time. I am returning to the food he has always had.

    Refused by my dog.

    By on

My dog has a sensitive stomachache and is super picky. Based on the reviews, I thought I would give this a try. My dog refused it from the first serving. I tried it for several days, in several ways and even mixed it with some bone broth but had no success. I still have ten of the twelve cans and more money down the drain. I wish there was a way to get one serving sample pods, maybe in a pack of six. :-(

    Finally, something that works!

    By on

I have a 14 year old mini poodle with a very sensitive stomach. She had bouts of vomiting, diarrhea and not eating. I had tried many brands and types of food and nothing seemed to help. When looking for another type of food on Chewy I came across eno. The reviews were very good so I decided to give it a try. It has only been about 2 weeks but so far my dog has not had the usual stomach and bowel problems and she loves the food. Another perk is that the cost is much more affordable than other brands that I have tried.

    Sick Doggy

    By on

If your dog is having stomach problems like mine was this food is great to get them back on the mend. Over half the price of the prescription diet food on the market this one works just as well. Very easy to digest for my dog and he loves it! Thinking about purchasing the dry food as well.

    Adored by fussy Maltese!

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

Like other Chewy reviewers, one of my little treasures was diagnosed with gastrointestinal problems and her vet recommended prescription diets. After months of paying premium price for the less than impressive ingredients in some prescription foods, I did some online research and found Hi-Tor's Eno diet - and Chewy carries it! I couldn't be more pleased with this food - her gastro symptoms have completely disappeared. She loves it and I love seeing her feeling healthy & spunky again!!

    It's works!

My older dog has had horrible coltis for years. I have started transitioning from the prescription food to this food. My dog has begun to gain weight, feels better and no flare up. So far, so good. Great option. Food is dense, but don't change anything. It does the job. Thanks

    Not impressed

    By on

I have a chihuahua with pancreatitis. The RX food prescribed by the vet is very expensive so I gave this a try. My dog eats it - but I had to start giving him zantac after using this a few times. Also, while it is a wet dog food it is very hard. I even tried squishing it in his bowl with the back of a spoon to break it up but it was a lot of effort for a little result. MOST IMPORTANTLY - this food lists only the MINIMUM FAT CONTENT - it should list he MAXIMUM FAT CONTENT. I would not buy this again
