    Unfortunately, they won't eat it

    By on

I have 2 cats with urinary tract disorder and neither one will eat the stuff. Hill's & Royal Canin, yes, but Felo, no. So I'm mixing it in to get rid of it. Wouldn't you know, they continually try to eat around the Felo kibble in the mix.

The cats rather starve to death...

I don't know why this food went so bad... But the cats did not touch this with a 30 foot pole. Even the strays turned their nose at it. I don't know why it's so bad. The ingredients look good. Oh well.

My 16year young little girl has early sighs of kidney Failure. She would not eat k/d. She enjoys HI-TOR Veterinary Select Felo Diet Dry Cat Food. I also mix it with HI-TOR Veterinary Select Neo Diet Canned Cat Food once a day. This way she gets more moister in her diet.

I realize this cat food is good for my cats, but they do NOT like it. I forgot to change it on my automatic ship so now I have another bag of food they won't eat. :(

    Kitties not impressed

    By on Top 100 Contributor

The first time they took a couple bites but then wouldn't touch it, but its not wasted, the outdoor feral cats eat it just fine. They prefer the Royal k9 renal diet over this.

Nice Quality Food, but cat indifferent to it.

    By on

She will nibble at the FELO dry food a little, but only if there is nothing else for her to eat. Too bad, the FELO dry sounded just right for my elderly female with FIV and kidney disease. Back to the drawing board.

    ALL OF MINE LIKE IT

    By on Top 250 Contributor

As far as taste, they seem to like it. All (8+) scarfed it down no problem. I hope it works on urinary issues because it's a much better price and I have several that need it. I am trying the canned version next.

My cats don't like it..., but it is good for them.

I have 3 cats, two are boys and with the illness the boy-cats have a tendency to get, this brand is comparable to the hugely expensive ones (about 3 time the cost). I decided with these two boys I was not going wait until they got the problem to start this. They don't LOVE it, but to keep them healthy I am stubborn...it is either this or nothing. They eventually, grudgingly eat it. I have noticed the boy cat who had coarse hair is shinier and softer since on this. I also bought the cans (which they LOVE better) I add a bit of water to the wet food to get even more liquids in them. I use it as a treat, maybe once or twice a week, as the cans are more expensive than the others I was used I have 3 cats, two are boys and with the illness the boy-cats have a tendency to get, this brand is comparable to the hugely expensive ones (about 3 time the cost). Since my cats are not sick now I am buying another really good dry cat food to occasionally mix with this one as a treat. … more
