Feeding Instructions

Cut along the dotted line (start with #1 on the side of the package with the numbered bales) with a knife, scissor or sharp object. Gently pull on the cut hay bale until it separates. Remove the plastic packaging from the separated bale and discard. Arrange the hay in your pet’s cleaned cage. Store the remaining hay in a cool, dry place and repeat with the next numbered bale when you pet is ready for its next feeding. Always ensure that your pet has fresh, clean water. Always check with your veterinarian for your pet’s specific dietary needs.

    Weening young rabbit from alpha

    By on

I've been trying to ween my rabbit from alpha to hay. I've purchased several types trying to find one she likes. This hay she won't eat.

    Mini hay bales

    By on

I tried these mini bales as a cheaper alternative to another brand’s compressed hay. It’s a little yellow looking and dry, and I’m not sure how much my rabbits actually ate, but they loved tearing apart the bales. It’s messy but nice to see them have fun playing with the hay.

    My chins love these!

    By on

These provided some great entertainment. My chins tore into them and played for hours in the resulting pile. They are a good size and the hay was fresh. What a fun way for them to get their hay! Will definitely get these again.

    Fun for piggies, but messy

    By on

I bought this hay for my guinea pigs. They really seem to enjoy tearing the brick of hay up. I’m not sure how much was actually eaten though. Huge mess with hay all over.

    Still messy

    By on

Guinea Pigs were not interested in eating the hay. I made a mess even though they are pre-cut.

    Pretty Good

    By on

It isn't very practical for long-term use, my rabbit ate it all in a few days, it is good for traveling through. I brought it with us when we were vacationing and it didn't make a very big mess which is a pro.

    Bale mess for clean up

    By on

I thought these would be nice but my rabbit did not. He destroyed the one I gave him and it was a blooming mess. It did have a nice smell but he would not eat it. The clean up really annoyed me. I believe some pets would like it so I cannot properly judge it and say it is bad because that would not be true for others.
