Feeding Instructions

Cut along the dotted line (start with #1 on the side of the package with the numbered bales) with a knife, scissor or sharp object. Gently pull on the cut hay bale until it separates. Remove the plastic packaging from the separated bale and discard. Arrange the hay in your pet’s cleaned cage. Store the remaining hay in a cool, dry place and repeat with the next numbered bale when you pet is ready for its next feeding. Always ensure that your pet has fresh, clean water. Always check with your veterinarian for your pet’s specific dietary needs.

    Nice idea, but fail

    By on

Pros: 1. The brick idea is nice if only the actual hay used to create it was decent quality Cons: 1. Hay is yellow (vs the other brand of Timothy Hay I've purchased) 2. Hay is brittle and, well, has "dust." It literally covers the floor with fine hay dust. An no, I'm not b-ing about having to clean up, bc I'm constantly tidying up after the rabbit. But how fresh is this hay if it's literally disintegrating into fine dust? The other hay I use never does this. 3. The rabbit can't be bothered with it.

    Very neglected Hay

    By on

My Guineas neglected this hay and I'm not sure why but after just getting it from chewy I put it in their hay crate and immediately ran away from it and went to their usual Oxbow hay. I left it in there and it stayed untouched for several days so I finally had to take it out and put a different kind of hay in. I tried it again a week later and still the same thing happened. My guinea pigs just did not like it

    Wow and more wow!

    By on

My guineas were hesitant when I first introduced these bricks. I will admit that there was more dust then I thought there would be separating the blocks. But then a party took off! My younger boar thought it was a jumping platform for him! My older one seems to like the convenience. Truly has provided essential hay and enrichment for days!

    Higgins Sunburst Break-A-Bale Timothy Hay

I substituted this as I normally get the Oxbow round stack of Timothy hay but it wasn't available. My Chinchilla Gizmo loves it! Glad I purchased quite a bit of it!

    Easy Grass Feeding

    By on

I enjoy these Hay/grass bundles because I have two rabbits (indoor) and this is a less messy way of feeding grass, which is necessary for their diet.

    Timothy Hay

It was dry and crumbled. It made a big mess. It didn’t have the ops my prairie dog likes to eat

    it’s okay, won’t buy again

Other brands are way easier on allergies. This was messy, and caused my allergies to flare up worse then ever before.

These bales are so convenient and less mess.

    By on

I like the way these bales are pressed and the packaging makes it easy to remove each bale individually without the mess of loose hay.
