    Hamster Loves It

    This was the food my hamster's breeder recommended (shout out to Nantucket Hamstery!!) I had already purchased a different brand of food and my little ham was just not liking it. I purchased this and he gobbled it up right away!     Looks like a good selection but I've got a fussy gerbil

    I had purchased this for my gerbil in the past because he's not a fan of the pellets or the filler seed which is in large amounts in other brands of mixed food. The first time I purchased he seemed to like most everything in it except for a few things, the 1/4 of filler seed included, which was left I had purchased this for my gerbil in the past because he's not a fan of the pellets or the filler seed which is in large amounts in other brands of mixed food. The first time I purchased he seemed to like most everything in it except for a few things, the 1/4 of filler seed included, which was left in the bottom of the bag after everything else was gone. I tried another brand because there was hardly any filler in it and was loaded with some of the stuff he always likes. Well not this time, he didn't even eat the sunflower seeds, so back to the Higgins I went cause I knew he liked most everything in it for sure. I bought again and... nope. He likes the cashews, peanuts and a couple other things.... For all of you with fussy critters, I feel for you! They don't tend to initially cost much but when you're forking out the dough looking for snacks and food they'll eat only to have it rejected they suddenly get costly! … more
