    My favorite store bought hamster and gerbil food yet! There is a vast variety of hamster food out there. It’s hard to decide what’s best for your littles. Once you start analyzing the ingredients though you’ll realize that most of them are just filled with fillers and lacking in actual nutrients. This My favorite store bought hamster and gerbil food yet! There is a vast variety of hamster food out there. It’s hard to decide what’s best for your littles. Once you start analyzing the ingredients though you’ll realize that most of them are just filled with fillers and lacking in actual nutrients. This food is actually at the top of the list for best hamster/gerbil food. It’s true this brand use to have added sugars which is a big no no for the littles, but as of about 6 months ago (from the time that I reviewed this) they have removed all added sugar. No hamster food is perfect and you’re going to find something to pick at with any of them, but overall this is the most balanced food that I have found. Unless you’re willing to make your own, I suggest trying this product. This food does lack in protein so you should feed this along with Mazuri rat and mouse lab blocks (which Chewy also conveniently sells). Feeding those 2 foods together along with fresh veggies will give your little one a very well balanced meal. … more

    A lot of fillers like corn

    In the list of ingredients, it says the sugar was removed from the dried beet pulp but then they added cane molasses. Not sure what that's about. Whenever I've purchased this, I generally take out a lot of corn for it is not the healthiest for hammies.
