Fill your pet bird’s food dish with approximately what your pet consumes within a 24 hour period. Usually for cockatiels, the portion may range between ¼ to ½ cup of food per bird. Adjust the portions to meet your bird’s specific dietary needs. Supplement this diet with fresh fruits and vegetables. Remove uneaten food and seed hulls and clean food dish before refilling with new food. Always maintain fresh drinking water for your pet bird.
While introducing a new food to your bird friend, gradually mix new food with your pet’s old diet. Increase the amount of food over a period of 7 to 10 days. This will allow your pet to adjust to the new food and it will prevent any upset to your pet’s digestive system.

Great food for different birds!
By Laurie on Feb 24, 2021
This is a food I use as a daily food but it may say "Cockatiel" but due to the size of the pellets it can be shared with the other birds ("Lovebirds"). It is great because it has extra treats added to the nutrition.

Colorful and inviting
By Birdchic on Feb 14, 2021
My birds love this mix! It smells wonderful, and they devour it. It has lots of seeds, so it’s only part of their diet, but they do enjoy it. It will be a regular addition to their diet.

Romeo really enjoys eating his new Higgins Sunburst Gourmet Food. It's much better than the old food I use to give him. For one thing it has alot more good ingredients in it. No more artificial flavors or preservatives. Also DHA Omega-3 and protected probiotics. A food and treat in one!

More of a treat mix
By Brayden on May 19, 2020
I used it as my first bird food and that made it harder to train her with seeds because she knew she could have gotten it in her cage. I think it’s good for people who are breeding birds and have trained them from babies but it’s not a very good mix for not hand fed birds.

Only the best for my guys...
By SheepDog on May 16, 2020
R and B love this as a part of their seeds. I actually get 5 different mixes and throw them all together so the variety is large and appealing to picky eaters.
