Higgins Sunburst Freeze Dried Fruit Pineapple Mango Bird Treats, .5-oz bag

Featherico my sun conure, he didn’t like these. I’ve purchased so many different treats to see if he likes them. Last time I purchased the strawberries and he hated it. This time I got the mango/pineapple to see if he would enjoy them and nope. He hates it still. He still prefers other brands of treats I guess

My adpoted parakeet has lived only with seed and will not eat anything new. I still recommend them because I decided to try them n they are so good AND without added ingredients is a must for me. They smell really good also.

I had previously purchased the True Fruits blend by this brand, which was of pretty good quality and basically what I expected of dried fruit. Most of the fruit was soft and chewy, the main exception being the banana chips which were hard and crunchy. My Senegal parrot liked a few of the types of fruit out of this blend, but there were many that he didn't like. The dried pineapple was one he liked a lot, so I decided to try the pineapple and mango blend and hoped that he'd like the mango as well. Unfortunately, both the pineapple and mango were very dry and hard instead of being soft and chewy. My bird looked interested but then after a brief taste he'd drop the food. I might try to see if there's another way to make this palatable to my bird, but I have a strong feeling that I'll probably end up returning it because this was meant to be a quick and easy snack I could feed him right out of the pouch. … more

I ordered this product for my Mini Lop, Dale. Because he is a small rabbit breed I really have to be careful about how many treats he gets in a day or he ends up with wet poops the next morning. I love these treats because they are small pieces and just fruit, no added sugars or starches in these. And Dale ABSOLUTELY LOVES them. The moment he hears me messing with the bag he starts circling my feet, and if I take too long getting one out of the bag he will literally dive head first into it. He's gotten his head stuck in the bag more than once trying to sneak a treat out. These treats = Happy Bunny

The idea is great but the bag hardly has much treats in it. I havent seen my birds eat this flavor yet but at least they havent been throwing them like the other one i bought.. I probably wont buy this again simply for the price to content ratio.

To small ,they need to be bigger. OR there just for small birds. Not a macaw

Easy to keep and bird loves to dunk them in water bowl to rehydrate bits before eating. Great price too.

I simply love to get the munchies and nibble down on some of this mix. While I can only indulge in moderation...the bag smells so good I see my human eye balling it herself. Love it!
