Do i have to be around with my phone for the bark collar setting to work? or can you have bark setting on and it will work no matter where you are?

This collar will allow bark control settings to to function while not in range.
Does this collar come with the invisible fence or do you have to purchase one and then you the collar

This training collar does not include an invisible fence system. This collar features a built-in electronic fence receiver that works with any High Tech Pet electronic fence system.

This training collar works up to 400 feet away by utilizing Bluetooth that is a direct wireless connection from phone to collar. The collar can be turned off using the phone app.

400 Ft Range, not even...

The collar and all the features are amazing, when it works. The app is crappy, it has to connect to the collar each time I open the app and it takes forever. The collar has to be turned off after each use because the battery only lasted a little over a month. And the 400ft range is a complete joke! The commands for the collar don't work through the app when the dog is 80 ft away. I could hit her with a rock before the app connects to the collar. If you are looking to train your dog from a distance, DO NOT use this product.

Unreliable, glitchy, very hard to use with teo dogs

The app makes it slow to switch between two dogs and two collars. While the vibration correction is effective when it works, my collars kept disconnecting. Reconnecting is tricky and glitchy. The automatic barking monitor has only worked for one or two days in the last month, and i can’t seem to update it, so now (in April) it is still showing the date as feb 25. The batteries are pricey and need to be changed often. These are pricy, so this clumsy interface and unreliability is disappointing. Don’t recommend this product.

Sorry does zero

I had high hopes but, sorry, it connects slowly. Doesn’t correct when I push buttons. Does zero for bark control. I’ve moved all the control around. I’m gonna see if I can return it. My cheap hand held remote collar does so much better.

Totally not practical!!

Sounds great but not. Need wi fi connection, battery only lasts about a week or 2 if you are using it for the dog door as well. Not easy to use your phone for training versus holding a remote in your hand. And doggie BMI? I don't need this to tell me if my dog's weight is appropriate. Trying to accomplish too much and horrible at all of it. I am shopping for a different training collar.

Inconsistent

I bought this product to correct our dog’s barking; the problem is that it does not consistently detect barking. I’ve used the manual option but feel this product is expensive and I should be able to rely on it. Disappointed.

Amazing Collar

This is the only collar I have seen that has dog training, electronic fence, bark control, fitness and remote control of the pet door. I only use it for training right now but plan to buy an electronic dog door soon. The app has step by step video instructions to show you how to train your dog (sit stay etc.) Very well built and easy to use collar.

Need to be in range

You need to be in range with your phone so this can work. There is no point having a phone app if you can't control it through wifi. Might as well just have a remote. Was hoping I could train through the pet cam I have when the dog acts up, doesn't work that way.

Much better

After having 3 of the High Tech water resistant collars fall apart I am happy to have a collar that is made well. One issue that I found right off the bat is that the collar is made for a large dog. I had to pull out sewing kit and shorten collar about 3 inches to fit around my dogs neck.
