Easy fix for longevity of collar
By BrianNasset1 on Dec 11, 2020
The collars are rather flimsy, before putting on my dog I cure that problem by wrapping a band of electrical tape on both sides of strap attachment get easily a year out of them.

By Ughg on Dec 22, 2020
Test light shows battery is good, but it dosent open the door. Quit working after a few months and multiple battery changes.

Long lasting product
By Kensails on May 22, 2020
I have had the door and these collars for over 10 years. The system works great. Yes, batteries lose their power and yes we have had two cases where I found the top in the yard. Simply snapped it back on with a new battery and off it goes. In 10 years I have only had two collars. We notice the battery is done when our dog sits by the door and whines. it takes about two minutes to fix the problem. The door itself has worked flawlessly all this time. I highly recommend it and if it ever does stop working I will replace it with the same door from the same company.

terrible waste of money

I so wish I didn’t fork out so much money on these. The collars break constantly

Very disappointed
By TSDrygas on Feb 22, 2020
How can the electronic door be so outstanding, and yet the collars that come with it I made so poorly? I have 3 dogs so I purchased 2 extra collars. It’s been three or four days since we’ve put the collars on them, and the cover fell off one already, and the collar is fraying and junk. Ridiculous! I’m really upset because I purchased them for safety reasons and the electronic door was so highly rated, so I didn’t think to look at the previous collar reviews. Sound like I will writing a letter to the company who makes this door/collars- ugh!

Good concept bad execution
By Elia on Feb 23, 2020
My pups and I enjoyed them having the freedom to come in and out of our home when they wish with the collar and door. The collar worked amazingly for a week until my dog scratched on it and it came apart. It took one week for the collar sensor to break. It is not great for long term use. You'll have to keep buying these 40 dollar collars every other month

MS-4 Collar Poor quality
By Collar on Dec 28, 2019
We have now purchased a total of 8 of these collars in the last 5 months and they barely last 2-3 months. Not Chewy's fault. The company that makes them clearly makes a subpar product. The electronic pet door that the collars go to works great, however, the collars are the problem.

Questionable quality
By Doggymama on Dec 19, 2019
After less then a month of use it the cover fell off and exposed the microchip. It stopped working. It may have been bumped but given that it’s meant to be worn by a dog who isn’t going to be careful it should be of sturdier quality.

Don't waste your money - get the MS-5
By Hayley on Nov 18, 2019
This is my second MS-4 collar in 2 months .. they continue to stop working. It's absolutely ridiculous that this is the collar the door comes with, when there is a newer (and in my experience better) version available.

Disappointed with the collar quality
By motherofdogs on Aug 17, 2019
We purchased the High Tech door a month ago,it is exactly what we wanted for our two dogs. The door was well worth the price for the product and the cost of installation. Unfortunately the collar that syncs to the door is of very poor quality. Within a week of having both my dogs remotes broke while they were playing.
