The High Tech Pet Products PX-2 Power Pet Fully Automatic Pet Door offers the freedom that your large pets want with the security that you need. Because traditional doggie doors leave your home vulnerable to intruders, stray animals, and weather, this state-of-the-art pet door opens only with the sensor from the coordinating High Tech Pet Microsonic Collar. As your pet approaches, the door quickly and quietly opens upwards, meaning hesitant pets no longer have to push through swinging doors. Not only will this encourage use, but it also increases security with a kick-proof design. The automatic deadlock keeps it extra-secure, and the custom settings give you total control.
Key Benefits- Motor-driven pet door automatically opens upwards instead of outwards with the High Tech Pet Microsonic Collar. No pushing to open!
- Made from bulletproof resin with an automatic deadbolt locking feature for superior security against intruders.
- 4-way control with in-only, out-only, full-access, or closed-and-locked options lets you set your pet's level of accessibility.
- Opens only when pet is approaching and dual-range controls allow you to set independent inside and outside activation distances.

By Luke on Jan 3, 2021
Love the door our dog Luke can come and go as he pleases. Door can be put into lock mode when we are gone and keeps unwanted critters out.

Much better door than last type.
By Rescuer on Jul 2, 2020
First I had purchased a swinging flap style power door that made a loud noise when it unlocked which scared my pet and me. It was a frosted swinging flap, which my pet was not willing to push through, so I had to hold it open for her to pass. This replacement door is like a dream! There is no loud cluck when it unlocks, the opening is see through and pulls up into the door NO SWINGING FLAP TO HIT MY PET! My pet goes in and out easily, still needs coaxing due to bad other door. The only problem is the collar they send with the activation device. It's very worrisome that it will break and the device will be lost. What we did was attach it to my pets sturdy collar using plastic ties. As long as the device is under my pets neck or on the side, it works. If the collar rotates, and the device is behind her head, it doesn't work. That is my only issue. This door is well worth the investment. … more

I bought this automatic dog door from Chewy.
By Nick on Jul 15, 2020
I researched all the dog doors I could find and this was the best available. Not noisy, fairly quiet; Battery or house current operated; Do-it-yourself Kit available to easily repair from inside of house; Strong polycarbonate see through slider for easy in and out; Big enough for a hefty pit bull and a tall poodle; Clean, modern appearance with convenient hand controls at the top. I expect this to last a long time and I would buy it again. Thanks, Chewy.

Cheap plastic doesn’t hold up to strong dogs
By Cheap on Feb 4, 2020
It’s an interesting design, but not well made. If it’s on all the time, I could see it lasting longer. But for us, we have to turn it off in order to keep our dog outside at times. When this happens, our dog will naturally paw and punch at the door for a bit until she realizes she can’t use it. When that happens, over a period of months, the cheap plastic of this door simply can’t withstand it and it bends and cracks. $400 down the drain is just the cost of the door. Then there’s the cost of repairing the hole in our house or finding a better door to replace it and retrofitting it. I’m honestly ashamed of myself for buying this piece of debris.

Liberated!
By MissEllie on Feb 2, 2020
A handyman I installed this door in my wall two weeks ago and I am now “liberated.” I was worried that my 7 pound blind and nervous poodle would be freaked out with a flap type door so I purchased this one. My little girl loves to be outdoors and she learned how to open the door in only a few hours. My 35 pound dog took about two days to discover he could come and go as he pleased as well. I can now leave the house for more than two hours at a time! It looks nice but is very tall; however, the cutout is only as large as the opening. This door also prevents other critters to enter! One thing to note: you might need two wall inserts for deeper wall installs. I love love love the door!

Great Door but the collars dont hold up
By DirtDog on Dec 25, 2019
The collars just dont hold up to every day wear and tear. Chewy is great about replacing the collars. If the collar gets wet the battery will corrode. The strap on the collar is too thin and flimsy. Again the door is great, I just wish the collars were beefed up a little more.

Electric Pet Door
By OleHippiegal on Nov 7, 2019
I bought the dog door 4 yrs ago and love the door it’s electric plug into an outlet easy to install. But the collar is horrible. In 4 yrs I have had to buy 8 at 40 bucks each collars because of the flimsy case around the sensor. That activates the door to open. I place the collar on my dogs 2 of them under 60 lbs. make it perfectly right around my dogs neck that leaves enough room that I can put 3 fingers between collar at my pets neck. The casing is so flimsy the dog will scratch at the collar and off pops the top cover and it’s ruined. I have even placed duct tape around the outer edge of the casin to keep it from popping off. He still manages to get it popped off. I had to buy 3 collars in I bought the dog door 4 yrs ago and love the door it’s electric plug into an outlet easy to install. But the collar is horrible. WORTH PEACE OF MIND FOR PUP & US!
By Portable on Sep 24, 2019
Absolutely purchase this FABULOUS door! It is easy to install through the HOUSE WALL, Get the INSERT for the HOUSE WALL or go through the effort to make YOUR SQUARE FRAME. We did the insert!!! Our Furbaby immediately took to her new door. There is a tiny sound when our Pup goes in and out, but it only makes us feel PROUD of our Pup who uses it as often as she wants. There is NO WIND NOISE or Air that comes through. The sliding up and down Does NOT hit our Pup! The previous sliding Glass Dog Door made SO MUCH NOISE Due to the WIND, Our Pup would alert us something was wrong! During the night we all woke up because of the flap did NOT stay in place as it was advertised. It would hit our Pup as Absolutely purchase this FABULOUS door! Works great for awhile . . .
By dpcoolmom on Nov 18, 2019
We have two lab puppies. Got this door, and after a few months, the door just started to keep going up and down on its own non stop without a dog near it. We replaced the circuit board, that did not fix the problem, even tried new collars, that did not fix the problem. Chewy was fabulous throughout our troubles. They sent us new collars, and even a new dog door to try. It worked for a couple of weeks and then the same thing started happening. We ended up getting the original flap kind and cut a hole in the door. We should have saved our money from the beginning because now we have 2 holes in our dog area, one will need patched back up. Chewy refunded our money. They are the best, but We have two lab puppies. This Door works for my Dog!
By Hhhhj on Sep 23, 2019
The door is well-built, substantial, and attractive. We have experienced NO problems with the operation of the door. We use the door for our 40lbs dog. It has been installed for couple of few weeks now and the dog use it regularly .It’s PERFECT! My dogs really like it .It’s easy for him to use, we love that we can turn it on or off . It does make a noise every time it opens and closes. This brilliant door is worth every penny!
