Why won't water enter bowl when I squeeze the bottle

The water should enter the bowl when the bottle is squeezed. Please check that the straw is attached to the bowl, inside the bottle.
Does the bowl screw on to a commercially purchased water bottle or does it only fit the bottle it comes with?

The top and bottom piece are not designed to fit on other products.

Perfect for travel!

We love this water bottle! It's perfect for travel or a trip to the park! This is our second one. We recently went on a trip and forgot our blue one. I immediately ordered one in gray and had it shipped to our destination. It's so convenient! It's so easy to give your dog a drink any place!

Water bottle

This water bottle is great. I do not have to open, twist or connect a water device. A simple squeeze and Truffles can get a drink. This can occur when is sitting in the passenger seat or after a walk. She can have a drink. What she does not finish goes back into the bottle. I don't have to throw out the unused water. The are not many steps needed to open and add water. This is very simple, This water bottle is great.

Doesn’t work

Something wrong with the seal because you cannot squeeze the water into bowl like it was designed to do. But if you fill the bowl with water and then squeeze the bottle you can see bubbles come out from the valve and when you let it go then you can see water dripping down around the straw. The water does doesn’t go down through the straw

Functional But...

We bought this to take on walks when the weather warms up. It works but you have to keep constant pressure on it to keep the water from flowing back into the bottle. Also, you MUST get the top on tightly because if it has any area unsealed, you will squeeze water out there before it gets into the basin. I've yet to find a good way to carry it or any drinking arrangement short of cargo pants pocket.

Unusable Squeeze Bottle

I've known people who have used this type of bottle before and loved it so I bought one for my dog. Just used it for the first time on a hike the other day and it barely worked at all. I had to apply enough pressure to flatten the bottle before water started pooling on top, and after the first couple uses even that produced nothing except water coming out from under the lid. I don't know if it was just defective or this brand is different from what others have used, but I can't use this bottle at all.

Needs work

It's ok, I'm sure we'll use it. The bowl is kinda bulky for it to be truly easy to carry. It seems like a silicone bowl would be perfect because you could flip it down to carry, and up to use. The bottle itself is a little cheap--it doesn't seem like it'll last super long. We'll enjoy it while we can :-)

This updated version is cheap and inferior

The previous Highwave was fantastic - durable with a valve that can be closed to avoid accidental leakage. Great for putting in a backpack for a hike. This updated version is cheap, thin plastic, holds less water, and most annoyingly doesn't have an adjustable valve at the top. If the bottle gets squeezed in your pack, prepare for wet contents in your backpack.

terrible water mug

I have been buying from Chewy many years first time I was unhappy. There is no way you should buy this. You can not squeeze it hard enough to get any water. Terrible product.

Lifesaver water bottle

This is the best invention! Works great as a take along when we are out and about to be able to give our pup some water. I don't know if it would work for large dogs but for small and medium size dogs it's perfect!

Does Not Work as Advertised

This bottle was a big fail in my opinion. When squeezed water goes out where the lid and bottle meet and doesn’t actually fill the bowl.
