The bowl is approximately 7 inches in diameter.
Someone asked if it is leakproof and everyone states it is not, however on the video up top by the manuf at 22 secs in, it states that it IS leakproof. So it is? Or it is not?

Watering Bottle

Absolutely love - love - love this item. I saw this (or something like it) on Shark Tank and I just needed to buy it. It is so easy to water our dog versus our prior process. Very convenient and it fits in the back seat cup holder. The only down side is the fact that I have severe arthritis and squeezing the bottle is hard for me. Other than that inconvenience, this is better than white bread (as my mother used to say).

LEAKS does not do what product says it does

The description says it does not leak, but as others have said, it leaks all over. This defeats the whole purpose of having this. I thought I would be able to throw it in my bag and have a water bottle and cup all in one. Only problem, no water left as it leaked and everything in my bag got wet. Wish there was some way of locking the top, but you cant and it leaks everywhere. Big waste of $20. I use the collapsible ones instead and carry a separate water bottle with a screw top.

Great product, but doesn't close

I really love the design of this water bottle. My 15 year old miniature poodle has some dementia, and he can drink out of it with no problem. I also love that no water gets wasted or has to be dumped out if he doesn't finish the whole bowl. My only issue with it is that it doesn't close. It would be great for travel if it could get thrown into a bag, but once it has water in it, it has to stay upright, otherwise it leaks from the top through the bowl. I thought it would close like a regular squirt bottle, but it doesn't. I would give this product 5 stars if it was sealable. Otherwise, great product, easy to squeeze, and works great for my sweet old man!

Great Portable All-rounder

I prefer this so much over collapsible water dishes. The best way to use it is right after your pup is done drinking (since there'll be slobber and dirt in the bowl), dump the water so that the water in the bottle doesn't suck it back down and get dirty. It's also great, because you're wasting a lot less water than if you fill an entire bowl and have to dump it after your pup drinks. It's especially great if you have a big dog, because you can easily hold it up for them and they can drink from an elevated position.

Love this portable waterer

This is a great travel partner of ours! We travel every day with our 5lb pup. She paws at the waterer when she wants a drink. It works great!!

AutoDogMug Water Bottle

When the bottle is squeezed, water goes into the bowl, but when the bottle is released, the water goes back into the bottle. So while my dog is drinking, I have to continue squeezing the bottle.

AutoDog portable Dog water Bottle & Bowl

I am very glad that I found this on chewy. I cannot find these in any of my local stores. These are nice to have on walks or anywhere you can take your dog. Humans get thirsty, so do dogs they need a water bottle too.

Flimsy and difficult

The material is very flimsy which I guess is good for the squeezing but it doesn't revert to its original shape very well, it's basically. A regular bottle in durability. My dog doesn't like it because it's so hard to keep a consistent pressure on the bottle. It's a great idea. But it's terrible execution. I have bad hands so to keep the consistent pressure especially when there's less than 100% in the bottle it takes two hands. If I have to use two hands then I might as well use a bowl x_x

Produxt doesn't work

Very disappointing. Difficult to squeeze. Have to use both hands and apply an uncomfortable amount of pressure to get enough water into the bowl. And then you have to continue squeezing so that the water doesn't get sucked back into the bottle, so you can't release your grip and set the bottle down on the ground for the dog to drink. You have to continue squeezing with both hands while holding it upright. It's a really awkward and uncomfortable position - as the bowl style must be upright.
