  • It's okay...

I have two cats, one has bladder issues, and the other one doesn't. The one with crystals/UTI doesn't like the food, and will only eat it when he's STARVING. The other one seems to like it just fine, and feels ok eating BOTH of their food- needless to say he's gained a little weight in the last few weeks. From a personal standpoint. I think this food is disgusting. It smells horrible, and since I have to mix it with water I get a very personal interaction with it. I did test a few different flavors with the cats and they seemed to like the mix with veggies more- unfortunately it only comes in TINY cans. Chewy- IS AMAZING! • Nothing Wasted

My three cats have been on a urinary diet for two years now. In one weekend my oldest AND youngest rescue cats had urinary blockage requiring trips to the vet. The special diet was advised and because they all eat together and can't differentiate the names on the bowls all three cats eat this food plus the dry. NO one has had a problem since changing food over. The dry version is the lite version because of weight but nobody cares. Slight conspiracy when they think it's time to eat, I think, the younger kitty comes to me, meows, rubs my leg, presses himself against me and looks up as if to say"can we eat now? My brothers sent me because I'm so cute and you can't resist when I ask" And it's true My three cats have been on a urinary diet for two years now. My brothers sent me because I'm so cute and you can't resist when I ask" And it's true, they LOVE to eat even though they share the larger can. They have small sauce dishes for easy feeding plus I add a small amount of warm water to cover the bottom of the dish. They are able to lick up every sticky delicious crumb that used to stick to the dish. I have to wrap ANY other can I open in a towel so they don't hear the seal pop and think FOOD! Chewy and the folks who work there are outstanding, helpful, and the best ever at what they do IF you should need help with an order. The personal Christmas card is the icing on the cake. Buy this food, autoship with Chewy and your life with your furry babies will be so much easier. The boxes and shipping is amazing. I reuse the sturdy boxes for storage (or the cats to play in) When my order comes, my middle cat is always on hand to sample the new food when I transfer it to airtight containers. I am a forever Chewy Mom … more

  • Sorry, they won't eat it!

Something told me not to order this, that way back when, I had tried it before and no cat would ever touch it. But no, I ordered it again. Only after I add various supplements or flavored powders to it will I see any of my cats eating this, and even then, reluctantly. Please make it taste good :x( .

  • First order

    By on

I am very impressed with chewy.com. I ordered c/d feline because it’s hard for me to get to the vet during working hours. I also ordered c/d vegetable cans cause I thought my cats needed vegetables. They turned their nose up at the vegetables so I called chewy to just send the regular c/d on my next regular automatic order. They credited me for the one I can’t use. I didn’t ask. I will donate it to my vet’s Office. What a great company. Making my life a lot easier. Thank you!!

  • My cats all love it

    By on

I got this to compliment the os dry food to give my cats a little variety. My cats even y foster kittens all love it. It has been to short of a time to tell how well it works for Crystal formations ,so the jury is still out on that. Hopefully it works out well for my cat.

  • Does the job

    By on

I'm not a fan of the ingredients Science Diet uses in all of their foods, but it has done the job of keeping away any bladder stones. My cat was eating both the dry and wet c/d, but up until recently I have changed her dry food to more superior quality and have kept this canned food in her diet. I've never had an issue with the quality that Chewy has provided. Saves me a few dollars with not having to buy from the vet!

  • Good change for Jake

    By on

Jake had been on Royal Canin Urinary for a few years but recently lost interest in it. Our vet had various samples of Hill's, and Jake seems to like the chicken the best. What a relief to see his interest in eating return!

  • My cats obsessed

    By on

My cat has always loved food, but I recently got him some wet food for his post surgery recovery and now he’s hooked! I was told by my vet wet is better anyway for cats with urinary issues, so it’s a win/win.

  • different formula and my cat loves it!

    By on

I am not crazy about the larger size can because I have to partition it or have an open can in my fridge and I hate that. However, my cat absolutely loves the new formula, he would eat the entire can if I let him. He still eats what is left of the old formula, but he eats ALL of the new food.
