great choice

Coming from a multi cat household, it can be challenging when your cats have different dietary needs to find something that works well for you. I would highly recommend this product, I have an elderly rescue cat who has suffered from bladder and kidney issues, and withstood surgeries and stones over the course of her life. Ever since we transitioned her to this food, she has had no issues!! It can be challenging keeping your other cats from sneaking kibble from each other’s bowls, and this food sits well for everyone’s bellies. We did try other urinary health foods prior to this, and it did cause some indigestion and vomiting issues for the cats that did not need the prescription food when they did sneak a little bit. This by far has been an amazing find for our household

Believe we rec'd a bad batch

Our cat has been on this for years. We received a bag of it in early June and when we opened it in July, we noticed it looked a little different. After a few days of eating food from this new bag, our cat started having diarrhea. Our vet prescribed a probiotic which stopped the diarrhea but then she stopped eating all together. We took her in to get a workup and her kidney numbers were dangerously high. She was hospitalized for three days so she could get fluids and be monitored. I called Hills and they said they had not altered the shape or ingredients. Nothing else in her diet had changed and she hasn't come into contact with any dangerous substances/chemicals/plants. I cannot say for certain it was the food, but its looking more and more like it was. I do appreciate Chewy for refunding us for the food.

Corporate America

I buy this food for my kitties so they can live healthy lives but from Time to order to my home it took five days four which I was on they phone white chewy and my vet for them to give me my cats food I still ended up going to the vet and still gave did not give me a valid paper prescription said the portal was down bottom line I spent time and gas to save a quick buck was not worth it And the difference between the 8.5 and 17.6 lb bags are the kibble size and texture if you know cats it is the smallest thing that makes them say no and kibble size and texture is just that and hills knows that they want you to keep the medium size bag or smaller bc your in the store more frequently

my cat hated it

the kibble size is huge in comparison to the food he usually eats which is bad for my picky cat. i had to buy a massive bag of this stuff to qualify for autoship which i wish i didn’t do because he refuses to eat it. i have it mixed in his bowl with his normal kibble and he somehow manages to pick out just his regular kibble from his bowl. hopefully the royal canin is better

I’m impressed

I have all 3 of my cats on this diet, because try saying no to a cat, and they all love it. I’ve noticed that they eat a lot less now too. I’m thinking it must be more nutritious. Also their litter boxes don’t smell as bad as they used to. I found that to be interesting, definitely not crying about it. I supplement with canned and give them a half a can a day to share and it takes all day for them to finish it. I thought this food was going to cost me a lot more but it’s working out to be about the same as the cheap grocery store junk because of how much less they need to feel full. Super happy with it. Shipping was super fast too. And my kitty with the bladder issues is doing great too. An absolute win on all points. Highly recommend to anyone even if your cat doesn’t have urinary issues yet.

Great food for all of my cats

This food is an excellent choice for my 5 cats. Two of them are 15 years old so I like the urinary care which I feel helps keep them healthy as they age. They all like the taste of the food and anxiously wait for breakfast and dinner each day.

yummy

my vet recommended this food for 2 of my cats, one who needs low calcium and one who is prone to UTI and I was surprised at how they LOVED it right out of bag, I was prepared to do the gradual get them used to it , but they gobbled it up ! I wish it was not so EXPENSIVE , it is putting a strain on my budget , its a shame that these special foods are 3x the cost of regular quality foods

our cat rejected Hill's C/D

Our cat had a urinary cathater surgery for a blockage and refused to eat this food. when mixed with his previous food "Purina Cat chow" in a slow transition he just picked out the purina ,when it was 100% C/D he rejected it, maybe he ate 5 or so morsols a day. he did eat the c/d wet chicken stew food, vet is now switching him to Royal C urinary SO. Hopefully he eats it.

Very tasty!

My 10 year old cat Schatzi has really taken to this diet. In fact, I have to cover it up when she gets her daily wet food so that she'll eat it before it gets "old" ( ya'll know how cats are! She got diagnosed 3 years ago and since has made a remarkable recovery! She says it's very tasty.

Midi loves this stuff.

Midi (a tuxedo cat aged 16) was diagnosed a year ago with kidney problems. His vet suggested this food along with a wet food to treat him. It worked. Midi prefers the kibbles to the wet food so much so that he wakes me
