Our Geriatric Cat Likes It

We received a sample of this food at an emergency vet clinic for one of our cats. Our geriatric male cat decided he likes this food. He has several issues, including Kidney Disease. Of course, he won't eat the renal foods. At this point it's whatever he likes and will eat. Our vet feels this food is better for him than what he had been eating, which he won't touch now that he's eating this i/d. Seems to have helped some of his stomach issues as well. Unfortunately our other cat didn't make it, so very heartbroken.

Time will tell

My 18 year old baby Skipper has colitis. My vet recomended starting him on this food. It's Very hard to get a finicky cat to change their food. I am mixing this food in with his normal Dry food, and belive me he knows there is something differnt. So far he is picking out the Dry food he alway eats, and leaves the Hills prescription. It's amazing that he knows that Something is differnt in his bowl. Time will telll...this type cat food is to pricey to discard if It's not eaten. We are just getting started though..keeping my fingers crossed.

So Far So Good

I have a dry food only eater and he vomits too many times a day to keep track of these days. He was doing well on Biome and then it stopped working. My Vet changed it up to this one which has reduced his barf to once daily. I wish he would eat soft but he would rather go without so for now I am sticking to this type and hope over time it stops his vomiting altogether.

Yes, recommend

Even with medicine, the new kitten continued to have diarrhea and leaked it all over the house. This food helped a LOT. Even with the medicine, when I ran out, the diarrhea started again -- I bought more and her bowels have been much better since. Will continue to use it.

Cat food

Prescribed for our cat who has digestive issues and throws up regularly - in spite of the prescription food. We limit her servings and that helps. The item is way, way too expensive! I love the messages I get that say your "paws" are busy preparing our order. :) Orders always arrive in a timely manner and are correct.

Solved Health Problem

My long haired cat got fur trapped in her intestines and eventually quit eating. Three days at the vets and over $500 later and the vet put her on this prescription food. She has been on it for almost two years now and no more issues. Problem has not reoccurred.

Love the kibble

My eldest cat couldn't eat his regular Hill's kibble any longer but when he was changed over to i/d he was thrilled! He had his kibble back! He will only eat a bite or two of his i/d canned, but be adores his kibble.

Tasty, or at least my cats think so

I had to change to ID for health reasons for my cat. I was afraid he wouldn't like it since he's only had one type of food for 7 years, but he took to it right away.

no more soft stool on the bed

My newly adopted cat had diarrhea once we took her back home. Our vet prescribed her with purina EN, however it didn’t work. I noticed that our cat had diarrhea in foster, so I reached out to her foster home and they recommend me to try hill’s ID instead. Our vet helped us to change prescribed food to this this and the hill’s ID wet can, after a few days the diarrhea went away! I wouldn’t say if another brand isn’t working, this might be a good try.

seven healthy cats

We have seven cats in our cattery. They are all strays or surrenders. Each one has a room and a patio. One cat had diarhea several years ago. After several vet visits, nothing had changed. A vet tech told us about ID and It made our cattery a very happy place. I'm serious. We wouldn't consider feeding any other dry food.
