My cat has IBS so she needs the digestive care food. We alternate between the dry kibbles and this wet food. Since she has been on this she does t have problems going to the kitty litter box and she hardly vomits. Mix the wet food with forti flora probiotic for cats and they get a really good dose of good bacterium their stomach which promotes healthy bowels.
With one of my cats diagnosed with IBD, I ordered this prescription diet in hopes it would help. I tried slowly introducing it to both of my boys mixing it in with their current pate. Neither cat would eat the food so it looks like this will be another case going to our local shelter. I wish cat food companies would make available a trial size of their foods so us pet parents could do a trial run before ordering a case. I tried to get a few cans from my vet, but she was out of it. This is an expensive mistake! I do think it's a good food, just not for my two boys.
My 14-year old kitty was on death's door when I got this food from the vet. She loves it! After starting this food, she has gone from throwing up daily to only occasionally! Her stool is solid. I can tell she is feeling much better! Thanks Chewy for filling prescription food needs!
My newly adopted cat had diarrhea once we took her back home. Our vet prescribed her with purina EN, however it didn’t work. I noticed that our cat had diarrhea in foster, so I reached out to her foster home and they recommend me to try hill’s ID instead. Our vet helped us to change prescribed food to this this and the hill’s ID dry food, after a few days the diarrhea went away! I wouldn’t say if another brand isn’t working, this might be a good try.
Hurricane the Cat has a very sensitive digestive system. The vet recommended this food and he has been doing very well on it.
This cat food is a really good product and has made a real difference in my cat’s health, her vomiting from hair balls and her digestive issues have pretty much disappeared, she’s not a big fan after the food has been refrigerated but that’s just her and this is still her favorite food, however this last case of cans was covered in something crumbly and odd and I literally had to wash each and every can after opening them outside in order to not carry the “mystery crumbles” into the house since my cat thinks she’s a goat and will try anything once. I’m really hoping this isn’t going to become an every case issue.
My cat was having digestive issues that were getting progressively worse. I got lab work done and all was negative. My vet suggested I/d and within a day he was better. Really 100% better. I'm so grateful to have found such a simple solution.
Got this for our 10 year old cat who was starting to throw up bile/acid every few days and since adding this to her diet she hasn't had that problem again. We still feed her regular dry cat food and just give her half a can or so threw out the day.
My Justin had a potential hairball blockage and the Vet suggested a change in food to include both wet and dry to assist with digestive issues, Justin really loves this food, so we also give it to his brother Jacob. We have noted such a difference, they have both lost weight are more energetic and comfortable with the changes. Great food. Thankyou Hills.
My tabby has the most sensitive stomach, on the planet. Hills digestive health is the best food for her; and she is doing very well.
