This was a game changer for my little guy (2 yr old mix). We adopted him 4 months ago from a shelter after he was picked up by animal control, having been abandoned and living under someone’s house. Since coming to our house, he has had non-stop diarrhea and gas - just the worst-smelling death poos, This was a game changer for my little guy (2 yr old mix). We adopted him 4 months ago from a shelter after he was picked up by animal control, having been abandoned and living under someone’s house. Since coming to our house, he has had non-stop diarrhea and gas - just the worst-smelling death poos, that got everywhere. Poor guy was really struggling. We did all kinds of lab work, deworming, antibiotics, probiotics, and every quality single ingredient food under the sun was tried. Nothing worked. Nothing. My vet recommended this food (cat hates pate so this stew was perfect). I honestly don’t like some of the ingredients listed but I can’t be picky at this point. His poos are way more manageable (within 48 hours I saw a difference). An occasional loose one when he’s stressed or anxious but WAY better in both consistency and smell. Relief for everyone. Just wish they made bigger cans (he goes through 3-4 a day) and another flavor. But this flavor still gets demolished (bowl licked clean) and it’s been a month. My other cat even prefers it to her food. … more

I have four cats. One of them came down with pancreatitis. The vet prescribed this food. NOT ONE of the cats will touch this food. Even if they get offered nothing but this food for an entire day and don't eat, and the next day they should be hungry enough to eat ANYTHING, they will not touch this food I have four cats. Bought wrong canned food for cats
By Samie on Feb 18, 2021
My cats do not care for this type with vegetable stew in it. They refuse to eat it. So I still have to get canned cat food at stores.

Not loving the food
By 2Cats on Feb 18, 2021
I have 2 cats on this food and they don't really like it. One won't eat this at all and the other, I think tolerates it.

Both my cat inhaled this food! Bought it as the one I usually purchase was out of stock. Good substitute.

Changed Formula??
By Suzy on Jan 31, 2021
Has anyone else had their cat stick their nose up at this prescriptive food after eating it for two months? My two cats (one with digestive issues) have been eating this wholeheartedly for the last two months. This new delivery we just got must have a different formula from the previous ones? My one cat with the digestive issues smelled something right away and would not touch it. It's been one week now and both cats still will not eat it.

Perfect for Cat Tummies
By Lacy on Jan 21, 2021
My cat has digestive issues and is very picky about the taste of her food. When she hears that can rip open she comes running now. She is also throwing up less and seems to be more regular. She is an aging cat with no teeth so this is perfect for her!

This hills product is difficult to find but Chew has it.
By suz1catz on Jan 20, 2021
My cat vet put my kitty on Hills i/d which is costly and difficult to find But I'm grateful for Chewy that has this product. Quick shipment and the price was a bit high. Healthy and happy kitty.
