    Pricey but works

    I was surprised to see ingredients like organ meats and pork byproducts since this was vet recommended for my pancreatitis prone maltipoo. But it does work. Stool firmer, no repeat bouts so far, and he does like it pretty well. I do mix this with Blue Buffalo GI Low Fat kibble because it has a natural ingredients list and is more nutrition-dense. Due to BB’s higher protein content though I always include this Hills. I believe part of his pancreatitis bouts may be due to high-protein sensitivity. … more

    My dog wasn’t particularly fond of it

    The pate was sent to me by mistake. My dog prefers the stew. Chewy did offer to replace it but I said I would give it a try. They also offered to replace if she didn’t like it. It is dry so I added water and sometimes carrots or asparagus to it and it passes. Still going with the stew with the The pate was sent to me by mistake. My dog prefers the stew.
