    Hey, the cat will eat it!

    My cat, at 13, was diagnosed with either intestinal cancer or IBD. He lost a lot of weight and recently, his stools were grayish, runny and smelly. Hoping for IBD, my vet put him on prednisolone and prescribed Hills I/d as it is supposedly easier to digest. I’m not a real fan of chicken and it does contain corn, but the cat eats it, so I’m pleased. I’m surprised since he refuses so much else - won’t even touch wet food. After looking at the ingredients, I’m not sure why it has to be vet-prescribed, but there it is. His stools are much better and he is also eating a bit better. I am feeding him wet food with a syringe and it may be the prednisolone that is helping, but I am satisfied with the Hills I/d dry food and will continue it. … more

    Dry food better than canned

    My cats are eating the food, but not totally enjoying it. One cat used to inhale food and now he eats the food over a period of time
