  • Dog Spits It Out

    By on

I have been having trouble with my terrier/dachshund mix having bad reactions to the kibble I have been feeding him lately. He has had multiple vet trips because of his vomiting and loose stools but everything comes up normal in the results. The vet wanted him on this so I gave it a shot. Unfortunately, my little guy spits every bit of kibble out that he finds mixed into his bland chicken and rice diet. I even left this sitting out for two days and the bowl remained untouched by him. He just hates it! Chewy was awesome as always and helped get me a refund as well as some ideas for other foods to try. My search for the perfect food for my picky little guy continues.

  • Westie loves it

I had searched for food that would digest easily for my tummy sensitive dog. This has worked so well. She never has the gassy upset and cleans her dish so quickly I had to order a "slow dish" to slow her down. thanks to my Vet and Chewy we now have a quiet tummy.

  • My dog loves it and keeps pancreatitis under control.

    By on

Small kibbles, must be tasteful, my dog prefers this over the canned food. She kept having pancreatitis attacks while on low fat home cooked diet but this food helps control it. Better ingredients than other similar foods. The only drawback is the high price.

  • Trying something new

    By on

Kato has a very special diet he eats mainly the canned but I felt he needed some crunch in his diet so I introduced this as an alternate dish he gets this as a snack at night inline with his amount for the day . Hes maintained his weight, he likes it, also it handy for me if I leave the home and wont be home for feeding times, I leave dry down so he can nibble. He eats small a amount several times a day due to pancreatitis. So its working for us the hardest thing is adjusting my auto ship. Dont want too much on my hands at once but the auto ship is the best. I will adjust. So very happy with product and chewy.

  • Less ingredients makes four legged girl and momma happy!

    By on

I am so pleased to see that Science Diet ID low fat is offered in a Natural Blend! My vet does not carry this and I am not thrilled with the regular blend which is filled with corn and chicken by products. My girl will eat it but likes this much better and will be able to get her to eat it easier after her chronic pancreatitis and rhinitis turn acute which makes her not want to eat. So happy Chewing has it as would have never known about it because my vet does not carry it!

    By on

So my 5 year old Malti-poo had a recent attack of pancreatitis and the vet has only recommended this low fat diet for the rest of his life. He loves this dry food along with Hill's prescription i/d low fat stew canned food. He loves that it gives texture to his food. Highly recommend it if your little one has digestive issues.

  • My dog eats it!

    By on

I purchased this because my dog has pancreatitis and had stopped eating everything but the homemade diet I was making for her. It's sometimes hard to keep up the supply of homemade food so I wanted to find a dry food she would eat. She seems to like this and so far no negative effects to her appetite or health.
